not even close to defeat[/b][/quote] I would comment on your complete lack of proper support and logic for your case but nearly everyone whom has posted in this thread has already done so. Can't you be chivalrous about this and just accept the defeat whilst you have a shred of dignity left? Is it worth dragging this thread into an inevitable flame match? | Hot Lava Posts: 1,859 | I gave many sources for support of my position... your denials of the value of the sources does not undercut the argument... all it does is show that some wish to bury their heads in the sand and deny the truth... bush was right, the wmds were and are in iraq and jordan "I really like this jacket, but the sleeves are much too long..." insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results... |

![]() Neo Moderator Location: England Posts: 5,609 | Mr Impenitent, here's what I can see from one of the sources; "Jordan to air terror confessions From correspondents in Amman April 27, 2004 STATE television will air confessions from al-Qaeda suspects who allegedly planned chemical and poison gas attacks against the US Embassy and other targets in Jordan, officials said overnight." "AMMAN, Jordan (CNN) -- Jordanian authorities said Monday they have broken up an alleged al Qaeda plot that would have unleashed a deadly cloud of chemicals in the heart of Jordan's capital, Amman." When I did a word search for the word "Iraq" or "Saddam Hussein" in the articles, I find nothing that says the materials were from Iraq or Saddam and neither do I see the source indicating that Iraq was going to use them. Both the articles I quoted from just talk about how Al Qaeda, which it seems for reason you like to link for the Hussein regime (without any actual evidence), was planning to use some Chemicals that are found in Jordan. Still I can't wait for you to start protesting about Israel having the world's fifth (?) largest nuclear arsenal and want them to be disarmed. Now on the serious note, deliver a reliable source which tells me "WMD found in Iraq" or something along those lines (you know like after the invasion and thus would justify the war?). No maybe's or could be's, you've dragged this on for too long and it's not productive. You have one post to do it and then this thread will be closed. The fact that they weren't used and haven't been found despite America forces crawling all over the country proves that point. If there's a WMD stockpile in Jordan, it was crafted with pride in the USA as well. What's the old joke... How does GWB know there are WMDs in Iraq? He found his dad's receipts. |
