Would you rather take policy advice form:

1) G.W.Bush, who in my opion could find Israel on a map.

2) Sharon, Hardliner with attitude.

3) Arafat, a subversive terrorist.

After those 3, Tom Clancy starts sounding sensible.

Yeah but almost all of his books are either a) soviets trying to take over the world or b) people trying to reform the USSR to take over the world

it gets a little tedious. how pissed Clancy must have been when the wall fell.

Yes Mr Clancy, did have a thing for the USSR. But now he is attacking his own governments, spy network. Which is a good thing. :)

Given Mr Clancy faults, i still feel the solution for the Holy City in that book, was a good and workable one.

I agree, the one you suggested from his book would be a good one. Thing is, there might be people trying it now, but whose going to put them on the news whemn they can show the rubble of a suicide bombed cafe?

But this was about a possible soultion for Israel and all the problems there.

What your now talking about is - The News Media.

The News is, some one famous, dead, nude or sex.

This as you mentioned, that seems explosive.
