| Igneous Magma Posts: 313 | did he use them before they surfaced on every newspaper in America or after? If it is after, as much as I dislike Bush I don't really blame him, just as I wouldn't blame Kerry for using those pics against him but I hope he doesn't. That would be hypocritical of him I believe seeing as he says he has so much respect for the soldier which I believe he does. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | In fairness to Bush, the images he used were of 911 victims, not the remains of US troops returning from abroad. The issue is about the coffins of troops. Still, the Bush administration have milked 911 like a faithful old cow, which in my book, is quite disgusting. About as tasteful as selling the merchandising rights for the 911 tragedy to someone. |

| Hot Lava Posts: 1,859 | hardly, 9-11 has not even been milked... it needs to be used more to remind the left that without military strength, their utopia is 6 feet under "I really like this jacket, but the sleeves are much too long..." insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results... |

Justified war is heartwrenching, saddening, costly, inefficient, brutal, unfair and forever changes a person. Unjustified war is chaos unleashed. It divides countries that started it, it divides the citizens, the soldiers, the politicians. It raises questions that before were never considered. It forces us to ackowledge that we ARE NOT always right, and we can be misguided, whether by intention or flaw. It brings patriots blood to boil, and party loyalists to defense. Isn't it obvious. We are being divided. By who? For what? What good can come of it? War costs lives. Beliefs cost lives. Who justifies what battle should cost life? The war against corruption? The war against political subversion? The war against the American people, waged by the Executive Branch of government? Our forefathers would already be in Washington, arms in hands, demanding these false leaders be cast out, or face the firing squad. Where have all the good men gone? To stand up, may mean losing everything. How plush is your prison? | Principled Observer Location: Toledo, Ohio Posts: 13,873 | Why die in Iraq fighting for their government, when I may have to use my life defending my own liberty? When is too much too much? Nov 5th, when Bush is voted in again. I shudder to think of what will happen in this country if Bush wins. He must think he is the Anti-Christ, because he is sure working towards armageddon. | Guest Posts: n/a | I haven't seen Bush's ads using the caskets yet. I would imagine he's using them to head off any negative ads Kerry might generate. Also, to head off any more negative press using the caskets. I don't like seeing them anywhere but, unfortunately, they're out there now and will be used as a political football. I hope the dead soldiers' family members don't mind. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | i'm sorry you don't want to perform your civic duty by contributing taxes and giving charitably to the poor, or by helping to design the economy so the poor are not quite so shafted and have greater opportunity to make something of their existence without first being born on 3rd base or economically raping other people and companies. yes, keeping aristide in power was erroneous. and bosnia was not truly America's responsibility. if you are assuming that i am a democrat or that i support every shit that drops from a democratic ass you are mistaken. |

This comes from the same Man who expects You to not understand that he was involved in Enron. If he wasn't then why is it that when Bush owned the Rangers the New ballpark was Named "Enron field"? Why are the minutes of Cheney Energy meetings private? Why are none of the Enron employees in jail? Young Young I guess all we've got Left......are these darned "Internets" |
