BREAKING NEWS: Fox Crew Attacked in Israel After Providing Israeli Troop Movements Reported by Janie - July 13, 2006 - 31 comments A Fox crew, including Fox News Correspondent David Lee Miller, was shot at this morning after providing Israeli troop locations containing video of Israeli tanks. I guess Fox is doing this to screw it up for all journalists. Fox is embedded in the White House, which is not embedded in this war. Yet.

my guess is that it was geraldo.. he gave info about u.s. troop locations/movement during the invasion. if they have him hiding under some sand in israel, i wouldn't be surprised to hear that he pulled another one.

I want to hear some conformation from Fox or Israel for that incident first before reaching any conclusions. I don't think that IDF did that intentionally If they wanted to stop him they could arrest him.

i wouldn't want fox (or any other news group) kicked out.. better to have shitty free press in there than none at all. if everyone were out, all we'd have is the IDF to give us information.

I say Israel should kick out ONLY Fox news. That would be a slap in the face of the bush admin. Who chose Fox to represent America. For them to be evicted would be delicious. Fox would then be the 2nd rate agency they have behaved like.

Did you see the video?
It was like immediately after they trained the camera on the position of the tanks, THATS when they were fired at. No big deal though, just a little warning shot. Friendly fire.

Report: Lebanese rockets hit journalists RAW STORY Published: Thursday July 13, 2006 Various news agencies are reporting that Lebanese rockets have hit a group of journalists in the Israeli town of Nahariya. AP was the first to report the incident, but RAW STORY is yet to confirm whether or not anyone from the agency was injured. Reuters is reporting that one of their reporters, cameraman Rami Amichai, was wounded in the lower leg by flying shrapnel. He is reportedly receiving treatment. The attack, launched from inside Lebanon, is being attributed to Lebanese guerrillas.

Why does the Fox story NOT draw anger like this one does?

If the response was during the reporting on air, more than likely the people fighting Israel happened to lob something their way and that was all it was.
