The Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks racist and right-wing militia groups, estimated that the numbers could run into the thousands, citing interviews with Defense Department investigators and reports and postings on racist Web sites and magazines. "We've got Aryan Nations graffiti in Baghdad," the group quoted a Defense Department investigator as saying in a report to be posted today on its Web site, www.splcenter.org. "That's a problem." A Defense Department spokeswoman said officials there could not comment on the report because they had not yet seen it. The center called on Defense Secretary Donald H. The real irony is that Saddam, and the bulk of the Iraqi people are true Aryan peoples, and those trying to steal that title don't even recognize that fact.

This old saw pops up every few years. The military, like every other occupation in the U.S. draws is members from the general population. There are Priests, soldiers. policemen, politicians, bankers, lawyers. nurses etc etc that espouse to one degree or another the belief noted in this article.

When they surface, weed them out.

Thats when they start signing deviants. When they have to. Because this one aint about fighting for our freedom. Its about lining the pockets of a few fat white bigots.

I can see that it could be done, but one would have to either be so weak in character that hatred overruled common sense, or so stupid that you didn't come equipped with common sense to begin with. Only an idiot gets out of combat with any hatred toward those with whom he has shared an assault. A gay, black transsexual would risk his own life to save a sunburned cracker. Having other people trying very hard to kill you tends to erase any differences among us beyond, "is he trying to kill me or is he fighting on my side?" That's not to say that some don't revert after years away from the environment. It happens.

No, I haven't. But I have been under fire. All I knew about some of those watching my six was that they were on my side. And that's all that mattered at the moment.

and you wouldn't want a non-white watching your back if you were a white supremacist. it goes both ways, but i doubt there will be conflict between comrades while they're overseas and have a common enemy. not watching your comrade's back is not only dangerous to your comrade, but to yourself as well.
