![]() Volcanic Erupter Location: España Posts: 2,508 | Back To The Bunker On Monday, June 19, about 4,000 government workers representing more than 50 federal agencies from the State Department to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission will say goodbye to their families and set off for dozens of classified emergency facilities stretching from the Maryland and Virginia suburbs to the foothills of the Alleghenies. They will take to the bunkers in an "evacuation" that my sources describe as the largest "continuity of government" exercise ever conducted, a drill intended to prepare the U.S. government for an event even more catastrophic than the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...060201410.html Any bets on what will happen? |

Do you think there's a chance they might see a possible real attack coming and want to be prepared? Not a day goes by that I don't see something that reinforces my belief that people are idiots. |

| Hot Lava Posts: 1,227 | There is a mid term election going on and it would help the current bozo administration to spook the American Public by having stories like this leak in hopes that it will scare Americans enough to get into another bogus war, this time against Iran. Already the Pentagon violated laws by using tax payers money to create a Iraq War prep book to be used by politicians. The Republican Party and Bush Jr lied this country into a war against Iraq and will be using the prep book talking points to con the American Public into thinking that keeping the Party that lied to us in office is good for us. One way to measure the American Public's stupidity is to measure the amount of viewers of Fox station. The lower theamount of viewers the more intelligent the American Public becomes, when the amount of viewers of Fox increase the more stupid American Public becomes. |

And today we hear N. Korea is fueling up a missile to test. This rocket apparently can hit Alaska and already has the Japanese upset. Awful lot of shit going on in the world in one single day. It's probably nothing but it sure LOOKS suspicious. Not a day goes by that I don't see something that reinforces my belief that people are idiots.

I wouldn't even know about these drills and, if I did, would think surely there's nothing sinister behind these actions. Just a fully competent and benificent government preparing for...? Nothing too bad, I'm sure. nm420 "In this age, the mere example of nonconformity, the mere refusal to bend the knee to custom, is itself a service. --John Stuart Mill (1806-1873) |

Do you think they would mind if we asked them to stay in the bunkers, permanently? We will tell them when to come out, maybe? Now ain't thet sumpin! Whut did uncle Jeb usta say, sompin' like "the more things change the more they stay the same"?? These thoughts remind me of the way Bush kept reading to school children after he had been informed of the attack on New York. His failure to immediately leave and see after that matter should be understood as headlines written in blood, saying "EVIDENCE OF PRIOR KNOWLEDGE!!
