Don't impeach Bush.

Everyone keeps saying that we should impeach Bush. I say it's not enough. I say we completely clean house. Get rid of everybody and and bring in people who are going to put the American people first and who will obey the constitution.

I say we impeach Cheney first, that way he cant declare that any future impeachments are threats to national security. And he would also end the "need" for elections. Isnt that what dictators do

Cheney must go first, bush is only a stooge.

BTW, you cant just throw a hand grenade at everything. There is no legal apparatus in place to "completely clean house" in one fell swoop. You cant just kill your baby because it has horns growing out of his forehead, right?

Well, you could always throw an ACTUAL hand grenede at them, but that would not be adviseable.

Impeach Bush and guess who becomes President? Is that what the American people deserve?

No of course not, so that's why we should go with daniel's plan of impeach Cheney first.

Dan: If we impeach Cheney and Bush, we will be stuck with Denny Haestert as Chief Executuve. It may be better just to wait this one out. GWB probably planned it this way. The sly little wrangler that he is now, I wouldn't put it past him for keeping Dickie boy around just because he knows that the country would never stand for Cheney.

Take down Ken Blackwell first with the evidence that Ohio was a Dem. state in 2004. Then tar and feather Bush/Cheney. Then a special election is necessary for the remainder, cuz the whole rotten scheme is exposed.

Yeah!

Do you actually think that's what this is about? Have you been off-planet for the last 6 years? Dear Leader launched an ill-conceived, ill-planned war by mistake which has only suceeded in burying us neckdeep in a disastrous quagmire that we can't win and can't get out of, and which, beyond getting rid of Saddam Hussein, has achieved the exact opposite of every goal it was intended to achieve in the region. He is the leader of the GOP which, in their control of Congress, has turned a record budget surplus into an all time record deficit, with a dept so high we'd be in default except for Congress continually voting to borrow more money, so that a third of our budget is now owned by China and a host of other foreign governments. His policy initiatives have been one failure after another, he politicization of our government agencies has rendered them useless, from FEMA and Hurricane Katrina to the CIA, our greatest asset, the American scientific community, is in open rebellion over his conservative politicization of science, and his job approval is as low as any president's since Richard Nixon.

That means that almost half the people who voted for him wish they hadn't, and those who didn't are pissed as hell at what he's done to our country. So don't even think that this is simply about the 2000 election. Bush had his shot and screwed the pooch every which way but sideways.

Yeah: we definately don't want Cheney as president. He frightens me. At any rate, though, Bush if nothing else is ensuring there will be a very different regime after the next election.

Agreed. Even the conservatives are turning against him.

Cant you just wish that guy into the Cornfield?

I tried that with Cheney and he shot the Scarecrow in the face. Left him in a shallow grave by the hiway......

But I remember it worked when you wished Porter Goss away. ....

Speaking of Denny Hastert; That crybaby shut down DC with his pining for his boyfriend Goss.

Dennis Hastert vs. Dick Cheney: The Speaker's Wrath
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By Robert Novak
May 18, 2006

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert, a 64-year-old ex-high school wrestling coach, ordinarily is not a shouter. But according to Capitol Hill sources, he engaged in a high decibel rant last week when he met with Vice President Dick Cheney. The speaker was enraged by the sacking of his friend and former colleague, Porter Goss.

Hastert was so vituperative that a private session with President George W. Bush in the living quarters of the White House was scheduled immediately (although Hastert aides said the meeting had been planned previously). The speaker toned down his volume on the hallowed ground and did more listening than talking. But the president did not slake Hastert's wrath over the abrupt sacking of Goss as CIA director.

That wrath reflects the feeling in the House Republican cloakroom that Goss, who gave up a safe congressional seat from Florida for a thankless cleanup mission at the CIA, is being made a scapegoat for the government's intelligence mess. But Hastert's discontent goes beyond the CIA. The GOP mood on Capitol Hill, particularly the House, is poisonous. With pessimism rising over a contemplated loss of their majority in the 2006 elections, Republican lawmakers blame their parlous condition on Bush's performance.
Maybe Cheney can take Denny boy hunting, you know; smooth things out "mano y mano"

HELLO!!!!!!!!! He won by the widest margin ever in 2004!!!!! Oh and where have you been since 2000. Were you outta the galaxy when Sept 11th took place or are you one of those that thinks that was a big conspiracy perpetrated by Bush and Cheney. And how many millions of new jobs have been created since 2000?? I dont know I lost count. And how low have interest rates come down since 2000?? And if you own a home here in California since that is where you are from, has it gone up at least 2 or 3 fold since 2000??? Yeah thats what I thought!!!

Where? In Crawford, Texas??? Bush beat Kerry by 50.7% of the popular vote to Kerry's 48.3%, a margin of 2.4%, and beat Kerry by 35 electoral votes.

In 1996 Bill Clinton beat Bob Dole by 49.2% to 40.7%, a margin of 8.5%, and beat Dole by 220 electoral votes.

In 1992 Bill Clinton beat George Bush by 43% to 37.4%, a margin of 5.6%, and beat Bush by 102 electoral votes.

In 1988, George Bush beat Michael Dukakis by 53.4% to 45.6%, a margin of 7.8%, and won by 315 electoral votes.

In 1984, Ronald Reagan beat Walter Mondale by 58.8% to 40.6%, a margin of 18.2%, and
won by 512 electoral votes.

And finally, in 1980, Reagan beat Jimmy Carter by 50.7% to 41%, a margin of 9.7%, and won by 440 electoral votes.

So in other words, Agent, you obviously haven't the vaguest clue what you're talking about. I'm thinking we'd have to go back to the Kennedy/Nixon election to find someone that Bush actually did better than.

Ooooooh wait, I get it. Bush beat Kerry by the biggest margin ever in 2004!. Since there was no other presidential election in 2004, obviously that's true. Good call, Agent.

No, I was right here. What about it? What great thing has Bush done about 9/11, other than ignore warnings that it was going to happen? Has he captured Osama bin Laden? No. Defeated the Taliban in Afghanistan? No, they're still there.

Not exactly. You can read my opinons on that starting here. Or starting here. Or starting here.

I don't think Bush is a psychopathic mass murderer. I just think he's an arrogant, mule headed, intellectually vapid, incompetent Peter Principle case study who got where he is by his charm, his daddy's name and other peoples money.

And Karl Rove's mudslinging.

Heck, consider not only everything he's done since 9/11, how about what he did in the 9 months before. Set tariffs on U.S. steel that pissed off the rest of the world so badly he rescinded it a year later, and called Venezuela to congratulate the coup against Hugo Chavez -- except that (DOH!) the coup had failed -- thus making the world's second largest producer of oil a devout enemy of the U.S. All in all, I'm thinking all this would make Boy George...

I fully agree with you, quiet guy. We don't have a two party system. We have establishment party A and establisment party B and both of them are full of globalists who are working to merge us into a one world government.

What we see taking place now in the sudden flurry of activity is the republicans trying to act like conservatives. They actually believe that after they have obediently wagged along behind the Trotskiite, Machiavellian neocons for five and a half years they can play the role of a conservative for six months and we are so gullible we will be deceived by their mock display of conservatism. Fat chance. I used to be a straight line republican voter, but now I will vote only for third party candidates. The republicans made the grave error of believing that conservatives are knee jerk idiots like so many others in this country. News for them: OUT YOU GO!! Real conservatives need to desert the republicans in such vast numbers that those who are RINO will begin to realize that if they want to win victories against the democrats they better vote for a third party.
