Have you understood the mindset a little bit or has everything I've been saying been going in one ear and out the other? Please, ask more.
Umm. Why do you hate God? Take me at face value. I have nothing to prove. My life is very good. No insecurities. I don't care if certain people reject God. Their choice.

Shall I spell it out. No. I think you are an intelligent person. Back to the OP. Sooo, why do you, if that be the case, Hate God??

I am gaining information, but those who wish to question my veracity are slowing the process for me and other interested parties. I shall debate later. For now, please tell me why you believe what you do. I am truely interested. OK?

The "Sects" of Christianity, as you wish to refer to, Agree on 95% percent of doctrine.
Recently, both the Baptists and Episcopalians have nearly had divisions within their communities over differences in attitude toward women and gays in the ministry. There are already dozens of "Baptist" churches. That 5% disagreement sure causes a lot of problems.

By repeating that terminology, I can only conclude you've learned nothing from the accounts already posted. Despite that, I'll add my position. I don't hate god, any more than I hate the Loch Ness Monster, the aliens living at Area 51, leprechauns, the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Bugs Bunny or Elmer Fudd. They are all fantasy figures. If you choose to believe they are real (and the evidence of their existence is the same for each one) then you're free to do so, but don't act surprised if I consider you a bit addled. I find it difficult to take seriously someone with an invisible best friend. But I try not to be rude about it.

I can't have feelings for something non existent. Simple. Now if you ask why I hate the concept of a God, is a bit more difficult. The concept of God spurs humanity to focus on believing in the unreal and supernatural and takes focus away from improving social institutions and the overall welfare of mankind.

Well OK, but condiser that most people operate on the level that there is a God. So your's is a minority view. But what is real and truth? The question that each of us must decide. Question to ponder.

Or more accurately,
"Well OK, but condiser(sic) that most people (in this country) operate on the level that there is a (christian) God."
Let me add that because "most" people believe something does not speak to its veracity, only to its popularity and rewards for belief.

How far we have drifted. But perhaps that is the point of the anti Theists. Avoid the subject of God by asking questions to side track the real issue.

. Ya hate God. Fine. It is your choice. Just be liberal enough or open minded enough to let others, who have a different point of view, be who we are without jumpin' all over our case.

This concept of being "open minded" goes both ways, ya know??

He was responding to what you said and disagreeing. If anyone sidetracked the issue, it was you.

Amazing how several people have said they don't hate God, and you keep repeating it anyway.

He didn't jump all over your case. You asked a question and he gave an opinion. Anytime someone disagrees with you, you say they're jumping all over your case.

And people were trying to point out that you have not shown open mindedness, but you've conveniently ignored that.

"Anti-theist" and "hate god"...methinks you've exposed your agenda. You are already convinced that we all despise your god yet you pose questions presuming to want to learn. I don't see how you can, unless you debase yourself of this fabricated viewpoint.

Either you never read my post, or you've misinterpreted it so you'd have something to respond to.

PETE: They don't neccessarily hate God, they hate what supposedly godly people have done to God and His church. I have two sons who have no desire to go back to God and His church because of the failure and the hypocrisy they have experienced among supposed Christians, and I don't blame them. Our job Pete, is too care what their choice is and follow the Great Commission as Jesus gave it to us.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations....." not preaching....not debating but teaching and loving them as He said to do in the new second comandment. Let's lead them to a close, personal relationship with Jesus and let the Holy Spirit do the work, ok?
"Behold I stand at the door and Knock" Thanks for your help.

Zealot...Jesus loves em and so do we!

Someone else here just said they do hate God, they hate all gods. I said I don't hate God, I just hate YOUR God. And here you are speaking for us and contradicting us...

I don't hate your God because of what people do. I hate your God because... oh, fuck this. I already posted explaining my stance. Do you read what people say?

Was it not God that mixed up all the languages, and caused all the strife between people in the first place?

Is it not God that places all of the blame for every wrong in the bible squarly at the feet of humans, even though it was God's creation, and God's lack of oversight that created all of the problems to begin with.

And again, who created evil?
I dont know. Christians, do you know?

Read friends, it was the serpent who came into the garden and seduced eve to test the forbidden fruit, right? Man still has the power thru Christ to resist evil, and forgiveness thru grace if he fails.

Such as Eternal Life with God? A popular desire. Do you not agree?

Yeah well, when I tell you my subjective view all you do to support your subjective view is to drown out, ignore, or undermine my subjective view, which in turn I try to drown out, ignore, or undermine your claim, until we both get old and die. Im just saying that "you people" also not only jump, but quadruple jump all over "our" case.

is it really about us and them ok i'll shut up now

You are amusing. You refer to those who do not share you particular dogma as "God Haters" then you complain about others as being narrow minded. A certain lack of insight just may be showing.

I simply tried to answer your question. I'm not asking anyone to agree with me.
You posted the question, then refused to listen to the answers and belittled anyone who replied as an atheist. Who's demanding we agree with their point of view?
