Again, no answer from you.

So I ask once more. Is there a difference, in the eyes of the goverment, between a homosexual couple and two straight women living in an apartment? Where is the social justification to either of those partnerships that justify granting them the same benefits as a heterosexual married couple?
In states that grant rights to same sex couples I am not aware that the laws are any different in terms of acknowledging a relationship then they are for a hetero couple. Certainly one could have a man and a woman sharing an apartment, even sleeping together with sexual relationships and then one could have a hetero couple living in that same apartment. All the government cares about is what the couple claims regarding their relationship.

Which is why I don’t think the government should care if a homo couple wish to get married. Just go ahead and recognize their marriage and good luck to them.

I'm not following your logic here. What are you arguing for now?
Just following the marriage is for procreation argument to its logical conclusion. Showing that the marriage laws as they exist do not really have anything much to do with procreation. But that if procreation was the prime consideration it would not be very difficult to change the laws so that they did reflect the primary purpose of marriage as procreation.
