Islamic Terrorist and PC think.

I have noticed, from the comments of some members that condemnation of Islamic terrrorist is somehow insulting "all of Islam"

Why is that?

Islam like any religion has many flavors, some more radical then others. Those believers in Islam that resort to terror are animals that must be killed. But if say this, people get thier panties in a bunch and throw a hissy fit. Drives me crazy when I read this.

Condemning terrorist is NOT condemning all of Islam.

Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route?

Right. Condemning Israel for their crimes is not anti-Semitic, condemning the U.S. for their crimes is not anti-American, etc.

I understand just dandy.

I convert to their brand of Islam, obey them, fight the infedals, or they kill me, my family and my dog.

Pretty easy to understand.

Probably because some members -- read, certain Christians -- feel justified in attacking "all of Islam" because of a few terrorists.

As always, Mr.V, your choice to nitpick what "some members" of one side say, while ignoring what "some members" of the other side say, is instructive.

I'm one of those members and it has ZERO to do with being a Christian (why does that matter?) I condemn the religion for it's lack of guidance and it's nearly mute voice in condemning those that kill, maim, terrorize and more recently..riot, destroy and kill some more in the name of it's religion.

I think there are probably far more high profile Islamic terrorists than there are Christian terrorists. And is it coincidence that Christian terrorists tend to be motivated by politics more than religion?

Mohammed saw the birth of chritstianity; a new religion with an eye to HIS homeland. Eventually the first terrorists came and killed, and stole the land. They didn't kill because someone was taking their land; the jewish terrorists killed because they wanted the land.

Talk about lack of guidance.

It's ironical that you mention the Prophet as if he's the victim of Jewish terrorists because, let's face it, he himself was one. Read these articles and find out why:

Mr. V, you say you'd threaten Mecca with a nuke, and then have the audacity to say you're not labelling all Muslims as 'Islamic terrorists'?

This is not me 'being PC', this is me being appalled at the religious persecution you're advocating. Very un-American.

The majority of the most notorious terrorists are Muslims though. Surely you can't deny this.

Not in my world, tb. The New Red Brigades in Italy, the Greeks who assassinated a British attache, the IRA, the UDF, ETA, the various South American semi-communist groups...want me to go on?

Muslims have terrorists, same as any other religious group. Why does this justify stereotyping and persecuting them?

One-liners, tb, one-liners...

I live in the real world, tb, not one dominated by web media or sensationalist views. Look up any of the groups I mentioned - they exist, and have for ages. I still await an answer as to why you feel it necessary to stereotype and/or persecute an entire religious group because of the actions of a few nutcases. There was someone who tried to do that in WW2, you know...

Because it's a fact that the religious group is a particularly fertile ground for breeding these nut cases, that's why. Not to say of course that Christianity is 'lily white'. It has bred its fair share of terrorists, though not nearly as much.

*laughs* Quite, tb. What were the Crusdades? A quiet picnic? What was the 30 Years War? A stroll in the garden? What was the forcible conversion of South America? A botanical expedition? Give it up. Radical Christians do things like this all the time in Africa:-

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/4607435.stm

And you feel it necessary to persecute & stereotype ALL Muslims because of this. Y'see, this is why I call you a bigot. Because your propaganda is aimed at all Muslims, you make it impossible for the moderates to be able to shine. Why did the Founding Fathers go to America? To escape religious persecution, just like what you preach. Hitler did this sorta thing too, with the Jews. Doesn't make it any less wrong just because it's Muslims.
