| Ultomate holy war
I am a rather sick individual so here is my shot at religion and my big entrance. I love religions, religions are totally awsome and I have studies many of them though not in wonderful depths. I have been doing a lot of reading on for the most part christian sights. I have come to teh following conclusion: How christians view the world is almost total BS. I read cartoons about how rock was a bad thing and then thought about christian rock. I read cartoons about how sex before merrage is a horrible thing and how you will automaticly get a nasty desease that will haunt you for the rest of your life. I have had sex with 5 people and I have 21 and very unmerried and well... I haven't cought anything yet... been through hell with some women granted however I don't have herpies or AIDs or HPV or anything of that nature and never have. I have used many condoms before and no women has ever gotton pregnant. I read about the dinosaurs and how they didn't exist and I felt truly horrable that this is what people with young minds are being tought. I find it amaising that an entire religion can be so sure of themselves to know exactly what god(s)(ess)(esses) had in mind. Becides that and I certainly can't wait until I get reamed cuz I love debating religion and hearing all the flaming rants from people. The best part I was reading was about the catholics though. I was raised in a half vaugly protestant half major roman catholic household. My family was UU, my moms half was catholic, my dads was laid back protestant. Funny thing... christians don't think catholics are christians. Not only that people are willing to die for this... which I find amusing as... well ::chuckles:: hell. Now I know all about the arguments about how catholics have taken the bible and turned it bad but I ask you... if you follow the same god, love jesus, think he was the son of god, bealve in the trinity, take that bready wafer thingy, celabrate all major holidays, read and get your "morles" from the same book (though I don't bealve that anyone gets morles from the book but thats for a different thing), how can it possibly be that because there is a pope and one looks to him as the head of the chruch... that there is a heuge division and that everything is bad and that there is going to be death and every catholic is going to hell and all of that utter non-sencial crap. Seriosuly whats the big deal?
Also as a more humorous note, my dads fmaily is totally awsome not really any counts of mential illnesses and are kind to everyone. My moms side back 2 generations everyone had a mential illness ranging from bi polar, eating disorders, and cronic depression. Does god love them more? |
