Evolution and the Fruit

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Do not eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good or evil, or thy shall die.
Why did God risk putting that tree in the Garden? Why did there need to be a tree? Why? It was a test. No one ever talks of this, but look. He created the angels, and that went well...for a while. So he tried again. He created humans. But he wanted to make sure we wouldn't do the same thing after a while. So he tested us with the tree, allowed Satan in to do his job, and boom. They ate the fruit. We failed. And why should we be punished for them eating it. Because if they hadn't someone else would have. It meant that human beings had the capacity to disobey God, thus we are sinful. We aren't literally born with sin, just the capacity to do it, and we do. We lie at an early age. But that's all the fruit was about. For all we know, it could have been some ordinary, everyday tree. But it was the one God said don't touch. Well, we messed up.
Evoultion. There are several things about evolution that make sense. Many things are proven or close to it while Chrisitanity is lacking. But that's the point. Back in bibilical times they had prophets and miracles. They also didnt have modern technology like we do. That's why we don't see supernatural mircales because we shouldn't need that much convincing and plus it's getting harder. Then steps in the theory of evolution. It is another test. God though a while back to leave a few clues around to 'prove' the different aspects. It is getting harder to belive, but that's the test. It's all a test.

In a way though god was unfair not to tell the people "why" they souldn't have eaten the fruit.

Ordering people to do things without giving them a reason "why" is an unreasonable request in itself. And to trust something completely without doubt is naive/foolish.

I get this a lot from strangers:
Can I borrow a dollar? I'll pay you back.

If said stranger was god and I said no than I would be cast out of eden for refusing to be nice (how arrogant!). I wouldn't have let him have my dollar either way.

Sin is salvation. Without "sin" there wouldn't be a concept for "purity" and without a concept of "purity" one wouldn't be able to enter "heaven."
