Is this how conservatives really see us?

Quote:
It's precisely these things: virulent hatred of God and Judeo-Christianity, pride (towering self-conceit), out-of-control emotions, imagination (wishful thinking), and the seductive allure of a particular 'idea' that are the common denominators running beneath and through America's Left. As a force united, they birthed an unholy army of mankind-hating demoniacs armed with 'will to power' who have unleashed a Hellish maelstrom of madness, hatred, and destruction upon America.

Out of this seething pustule of poison emerged a two-headed hydra: a mankind despising coalition of Mengeles-type 'gods' who call themselves secular human bio-ethicists and animal rights activists. These haters of mankind envision a utopianistic 'garden of eden' world that doesn't include most of 'us,' the ones they refer to so disparagingly as 'nonpersons."

These self ordained human 'gods' are adherents to Nietzsche's blood soaked nightmarish philosophy wherein he had declared..."God (is) dead......How shall we, the murderers of all murderers comfort ourselves? Must not we ourselves become gods to seem worthy of it?....the heroic individualist is no longer bound to a traditional 'slave morality," but is creating his own rules."

What was it that led to Nietzsche's triumphant declaration? It was a provocatively seductive 'idea.' That idea was Darwin's theory of evolution, which became the depraved growth medium from which grew a new and militant atheism that devalued all values and degraded mankind to being nothing more than an accidental collision between nonintelligence-bearing matter. Thus mankind became, in the minds of madmen, something lower and baser than beasts. No longer must these 'beasts' be seen as having any intrinsic worth.

Human worth or lack of it, could now be determined by mankind's new slavemaster 'human gods." And because Darwin's "idea" had given them the green light to rid the human species of 'useless eaters' and other 'undesirables,' militant atheists embarked upon a bloodbath unlike anything ever before witnessed in this world. In their power-crazed bloodlust they have thus far exterminated over one hundred million human beings. And they are not done.

Do all liberals see conservatives like Michael Moore? I don't think so.

Don't take one person's view and catagories all conservatives as having this thought.

His acknowledgment of Solszhenitsyn adds a lot of weight to his article.

No, we see the wackos who SEEM to be pulling the Democrats around like that.

And while it HAS given the GOP substantial gains in the House, the Senate and the White House of rhe last 5 years now... you guys need to run those freaks of and concentrate on realistic complaints, real ideas, and an agenda that doesn't include the words Bush, Rumsfeld or HAliburton.

If the right sees you guys like that... what do you care, we disagree with you anyway, what you should be worried about, is how many non GOP/Conservatives see you that way.

Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route?

What about Clinton, Shillary, and Moveon? Is it OK to use one of those every 2 or three sentences? I think this article goes far beyond partisan hackery.

What I find revealing about this particular screed is that it is an all out attack not on "the left", so called, but the Enlightenment as a whole. Without the Enlightenment there would have been no American revolution and no industrial revolution, for that matter. Darwin and his scientific method are evil. It is a simple attack on reason over faith.

How does the old saying go ...no one expected the Spanish inquistion. The author is an over-writing would-be inquisitor.

They flee from reason like conservative writers with no talent who have to make a deadline.

Aleksandr Solszhenitsyn said of their kind: "They flee from Christ like devils from the sign of the cross."

So this adds weight to the article? I'd call it fiction. Unless there has been some massive atheist uprising that I'm unaware of.

Marxism provides the conservatives what the Catholic Church provided Luther - a monsterous evil not really so different from themselves.

Hopefully, you're not comparing the holocaust that people like Stalin, who call themselves atheists, caused with the holocaust that Hitler and others like him who call themselves Christians caused.

Can you point out what I posted that could be considered a comparison? I'm not following you? Besides ,Hitler's atrocities pale in comparison to Stalin and Mao's, now that you mention it.

Stalin and Mao used old fashioned means to kill, whereas Hitler was more mechanized. Anyway, once you get into the tens of millions murdered, distinctions overall seem less and less meaningful.

Huh? So Hitler's supposed 6 million is worth more than over 100 million simply because he had I.B.M. computers?

Militant atheists? No. Militant communists. And besides, Linda writes as if the "American Left" are responsible for the hundreds of millions of deaths. There is no mention of Stalin or communist Russia at all.

Both actually. And much of the left is partly responsible for these deaths.

Sure, Hillary is probably directly responsible for both Stalin and Mao. Absolutely. Or Roosevelt or LBJ. One of 'em. Yah right

Ya know what's really funny, you guys forget something.

The Republicans keep winning, the dems keep losing.

Which by your rejection of anything this guy has to say, and Gorgo's critic... It would seem the Dems are gonna stay in their current losing pattern...

You guys just don't get it do you?
