I just found a site that lets you read full and free books online (you have to read them from the site) and there are loads of fascinating religious texts.

This link goes to the religious texts section

There is a section for texts by "early standouts of the Catholic Church" which is very interesting.

If you want interesting religious texts, try getting a hold of books from the secret archives of the vatican, i think quite a few were made public.

I wouldn't mind getting in there and reading anything I wanted... I'd have to take some very clever translator with me though
