The Structure of Scientific Revolutions: a synopsis by Frank Pajares in TMP Online.

This is one of two major schools of thought on the philosophy of science (the other being Popper's variant of logical positivism; a third from Leyotard seems to be less popular today). I admit I've only skimmed this article, but it seems a pretty good and neutral summary from what I remember of Kuhn.

One of the reasons I am an engineer, I do not have to claim my theory is correct. Upon completion it asserts this by itself, by doing what it was designed for.
