| Molten Ash Location: NJ Posts: 113 | What happened to the guy arguing that Justice = Equality, when clearly as a principle this is entirely flawed? "Die! Fall upon your sword. Fall upon your knee. So you can stop mis-quoting me. Stop dodging your questions. Even 'justice' today, see quality as important. Equal rights are now for women and race. So how is the principle of Equality flawed? I have case by case, loads. That prove the 'current' system is not working. But yet, you have not come up with any case where my system breaks down. As the currnet system does! I think your enitre debate is flawed. What goes 'up', must come 'down', unless it goes around and round. |

| Molten Ash Location: NJ Posts: 113 | You have already said that even though we must say Justice is about treating people Equally, in order for it to work, we must ignore this principle. Young people must be treated differently from old people, cunning, premeditated people must be treated differently than people who do things in the heat of passion, who are treated differently than people who do things by accident, who are treated differently than people who do things because they have Down's Syndrome and dont know the difference. Restrictions have to be placed based on age and intelligence and maturity. That is all about Inequality. True justice is about giving people what is proper to their nature. For example, people breathe a sigh of relief and say, "He got what was coming to him," when vile and harmful and wicked people are killed or harmed. They are satisfied because a wicked nature was treated as a wicked nature. "Die! Fall upon your sword. Fall upon your knee. Die like your Son, nailed to his Tree. Die by my hand. Die in my heart, plucked from the Ice; forever cold." |

Over the principle of justice. Why is it inappropriate to hold the same sentence for a high school freshman who works at McDonalds to the same standards as a Beverly Hills attorney? The laws and justice today. See race and sex as being equal, in the eyes of the law. So why are these laws not being enforced? What goes 'up', must come 'down', unless it goes around and round. |

| Molten Ash Location: NJ Posts: 113 | If you are arguing that the modern American alleged concept of Justice is based on equality- duh, no shit. I thought we were discussing the ACTUAL definition though, not having a conversation about one mainstream and historical interpretation that is not up for debate. If you are using the fact that America does it this way today as evidence that Justice is about equality, well, I pity you. What a shitty way to justify anything. "Die! Fall upon your sword. Fall upon your knee. Die like your Son, nailed to his Tree. Die by my hand. Die in my heart, plucked from the Ice; forever cold." |

Not twist them to defend you point of view. When you can't do that. Perviously, you where trying to defend your 'justice' values. Now you amitting that there crap. Make up you mind. What goes 'up', must come 'down', unless it goes around and round. |

| Molten Ash Location: NJ Posts: 113 | I only ever said that modern America is opposed to them. How does that imply I think they are crap? I would empty this land of 4 people in 5 and burn almost all of it to the ground if I could. "Die! Fall upon your sword. Fall upon your knee. Die like your Son, nailed to his Tree. Die by my hand. Die in my heart, plucked from the Ice; forever cold." |

| Igneous Magma Posts: 169 | Ethics is choosing to ignore base instincts and do what is positive, fair, nurturing, and for the common good. In a sane world we would do it because it would make the world a good place to live. Injustice is caused by deliberate choices that hurt or kill. When a third party intervenes - by force - and decides what justice is and who gets it - injustice thrives and endures generation after generation. In jungle societies disagreements and vengence is swift and final. Then life goes on. We are trapped in a system that has become burdensome with rules designed to create confusion. A 19 thousand page tax code is an insult to intelligence when a simple national sales tax would actually be fair for all. All do not want fair - and those in power make sure it stays unfair. "Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied", is a famous saying. Justice has been so denied in America we can't even recognize it. We are conditioned to lie and cheat each other - a real rat race. Sad. We do it to ouselves and whine. My family has become a law firm (5 so far) just for self survival in a totally corrupt, organized-crime gang system. Pathetic - but true. |
