Crystal Links webpage is one of the leading locations for well written informaiton about the science of metaphycal beliefs.

http://www.crystalinks.com/index.html

Please look over the webpage and pick one of the topics covered and lets debate if the ideas are logical, realistic, or pure baloney.

Sorry, computer linked to webpage I used on another topic, this one I hope will be correct (cannot test until after posting).

http://www.crystalinks.com/index.html

okay, now I got the right page showing.

So look over the page and pick a topic or two and lets talk about what we think about metaphysics (combination of science and spiritual rituals).

Note: if it is possible for a monitor to alter the first message to show the linkpage in this follow-up message, that would be useful so people are not confused.

Link fixed. But I can't guarantee people won't be confused anyway if they look at it.

Lovely site with great use of flash but I don't go for that stuff so I can't discuss anything.

Not a day goes by that I don't see something that reinforces my belief that people are idiots.

The design's straight from hel...I mean 1996.

(Sorry)

I don't know, I've never "gone for that stuff" either, and the site doesn't, frankly, invite me to research further either.

Yeah, classic New Age stuff.

But got tried of the same-o Chistian and LDS stuff, so wanted to see if I could stir up something new and different to chat about. Looks like this fish pond might not be big enough.

Agreed about the size of the pond. I doubt too many people here would find that stuff really debateable, or believable.

Still a pretty site though. :)

Expand the pond and bigger fish might fill it.

How? I can't see any changes you could make to expand the membership. Even if you could, it might not be a change for the better. I like browsing the forums and posting here and there, and THAT eats up a good deal of my free time. Make it bigger and we all either miss things we would want to see or have no free time at all.

I should use a better anology - create a bigger pond and more ducks will come.

That is true, you would have more people answering posts and that could get maddening. Smaller groups are better.

But I know of so many Christian forums, where you can talk about biblical stuff. And forums where they only talk about philosophy or science. And those that only deal in speicalized topics about metaphysical topics or new age ideas, etc.

But I like it when we get some mixture, not really a lot of people, but a few more with different points of view.

So I will post some alternative topics, hmmm? I can almost hear the ducks flying here right now, the sweet sound of their quackery.

Quackery is just what the doctor ordered to regenerate the health of this forum.

Then you can come here and go duck hunting.

Tech, they have info on some of my favorite conspiracies, but Sean doesn't like that stuff and too many here are professional skeptics. What's the sense of bringing up subjects nobody wants to talk about? There are other places to go into those where I am better received.
HAARP, Bilderberg, black helicopters, Freemasonry, Illuminati, Order of Skull and Bones, underground Gov facilities and more, but the hard headed realists on volconvo just tell ya' to go soak yer head. So the hell with it.

Pat, I don't care, this is a forum that is set up for Religion and philosophy, not a forum for hard headed science, and so too bad. Metaphysical science is a religion and a philosophy, and so I see no reason to run for the hills or a safe harbor where everyone agrees with each other, I am not looking for a support group, I am posting about religion and philosophy, and if HARRP has some political importance then I will talk about that under politics. Why not?

A skeptic might start a debate about one of my topics but seldom can they end up winning the debate, except in their own imaginations.

If I wanted to be limited to such a cage I would have reincarnated as a monkey in the Zoo. But as it is, I have no Zoo Keeper because my consciousness has evolved above such circumstances.
