ok i totally disagree with this church. They are trying to stick out though. Which is kinda good lol. And in america you can belive all you want. But what people fail to realize is that a religion didnt do this(9/11) to us(America). It was a certain group or person who did it to make a point. and well he got his point across. Back to topic people are creatures of habit if we do take the Qurans which they are using they will be forced to read something else. what that may be who knows.

Southernbread the only time i have ever agreed with jack..

Can any sane person see any good coming from this sort of fascism?

Well, if burning their holy book won't do it...this sign sure will!!~ I don't even what to know what their crusade method is if someone's an atheist. Door to door witch hunts?

    From MJ's link:
Last night one of our signs was vandalized. This is private property and vandalism is a crime here in America. In Islam, many actions that we consider to be crimes are encouraged, condoned or sheltered under Islamic teaching and practice, though. Another reason to burn a Koran. The signs have been in front of the church for a year. They are made of sturdy plywood and the missing sign will be replaced.

    Who dun it?

Free speech is hated by homosexuals and they do not like to hear the truth about their perverted lifestyle. We are protesting our openly homosexual Mayor Aug 2. Maybe they did it, (not the Mayor himself, surely) but the more likely trigger for this attack is the burn a Koran Day plan.
The complaint about vandalism - OK, until you get to the "who dun it?" bit...

I've always seen book-burning as an incredibly low and intellectually devoid activity - even such outstandingly evil books as the Bible or Quran. This is hatred, pure and simple.

I guess if Dove World can condemn all Muslims based on the actions of the fanatics then we're just as justified to judge all Christians based on the actions of Phelps and the doctor-killers.

I like to think I'm a little bit above such petty tactics, but if it ever comes to a debate with a Christian who wants to demonize non-Christians, I'll happily point out that his fellow Christians aren't exactly saints

People in Iran and other Muslim countires do burn Bibles.
The Quran and the Bible teaches the same God: Just from different culture viewpoints, in case you did not know. Peace.

What amuses me is that they think anything can be accomplished by doing this.

The Christians are still in denial of the fact that they are completely and totally outnumbered. Burning a hundred thousand Qurans would not stop the problem.

    Are you not including Catholics?

A man said to the universe:
    "Sir, I exist!"
    "However," replied the universe,
"The fact has not created in me
    A sense of obligation."
