Your logic and that of the bible are horribly flawed.[/b][/quote] This fruit tree is interpretation is not correct as it would have nothing to do with genes. That is just another way to saying that good deeds cannot come forth as the fruit of a wrong motive or wrong attitude. The first truth Buddha discovered (BC) was simular and he said "good comes out of good and evil comes out of evil". He was saying the same thing as Jesus repeated, that bad motives will result in a bad effect no matter how "religious" the behavior might seem to be. And if that was not their intention then it should have been. technosoul.

Now you are talking about Woodstock where people got stoned and naked and rolled around in the mud, it was fun. I think they had "bluejeans" - he forgot to mention the blue jean factor in his discypted opinions. As Alan Watts pointed out once - freedom IS wildness, freedom is the unexpected and thusly the uncontrolled. However in truth nature is self regulated and it has built in limitations, and so we just have to try to fit in the best we can. Technosoul. |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | Well, the month of Oct. is moving closer to Halloween and the scary elections. But I wanted to repost this because these message threads contian a lot of neat webpages for the Nature Based religions of our culture. Perhaps some newcomers would be interested. Technosoul. |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | I dare anyone to walk into a group of Wicca women and suggest getting naked - screwing them all - or asking them for some drugs that are not sold at the supermarket. Go ahead, I dare any of you guys to do that and see what happens, especially the "women's lib" wiccans. All I can say is good luck (boy will you need it when the pots and pans come flying at you). dare ya, dare ya dare ya. Bet I get not "takers" on that dare! Technosoul. |

On a more serious note (G clef or Treble, I'm not sure), you're right. Most people's concepts about Wicca and women's lib are so off-base it would be amusing if there wasn't so much arrogance and stupidity involved.
