| Hmmmm....... | Antispore Just found this blog of a "creationist" who's against the new video game Spore, where one creates a creature and controls its life as it evolves from a cell to an advanced race. Enjoy, and discuss ![]() Anti Spore "It's not easy banging your head against some mad bugger's wall." -- Roger Waters (Pink Floyd, "Outside the Wall") |

| Just as there are a select few atheists who refuse to touch the Civilization series game starting with the 4th installment of the series. All because the game designers refuse to stray from the BC - AD progression and over the addition of religion to the games as something that helps the player. What do you say to an atheist who sneezes? Yourdeadthatsit! - Dane Cook |

| Well - if it keeps the Creationist nutjobs happy and occupied for a few weeks, and diverts their attention from the real world, then it's a good thing. I like how all the god-fearing posters preach love and creation - but think those who don't believe need to burn in hell...that's so tolerant. I bet they bash other religions for intolerance too.... |

![]() I remember something like this happening some years back with pokemon. "Pikachu the devil!!" Comon' These creatures are harmless. Besides, pokemon didn't even really evolve. ![]() Shield your children from this demon's deceptively cheerful smile! | "I don’t have these beliefs just because I want to, I have them because they are the beliefs that I was raised in. I understand that everyone didn’t have the chance to be taught these things, and learn about God as my family did..." I'm so sorry that this "woman" feels forced into her own religion by her family but doesn't have the maturity to be honest and objective with herself and her religion. I was 'raised' Catholic, but when I realized that I didn't want to be I became an atheist. Folks, don't blame your parents for being stuck in your ways...it's lazy. Anyway, on to Spore! It's cute, it's a game. Are these the people that go to parties and never get the joke? |

| Ok guys. You really need to pay attention to what you read. This is obviously a hoax and you have been RicRolled. I suggest that you check out the "bible verses" she posted which refer to Rick Astleys song “21. The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never gonna give you up. 22. “Never gonna let you down.” 23.”Never gonna run around and desert you.” 24. “Never gonna make you cry.” 25. “Never gonna say goodbye.” 26. “Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.” 27.”Never truly believe anything you read on the Internet. There will always be cases of Poe’s Law.” Pretty funny considering all the people who haven't actually read the posts but are automatically blasting the site as being written by a "Christian". |

| Son of X51 | I suspected this might be a joke. I mean, Spore seemed harmless in comparison to all the sick crap they show on network TV, so I couldn't see what all the fuss was about. I didn't catch the Rick Roll though. For once, I'm actually glad I chose to ignore something and didn't waste my time reading all that nonsense, just to find out it was a Rick Roll. Yea apathy! |

What's interesting to note is how it's all the 'educated non-believers' that were duped by this deception...the same ones duped by the ToE. Quote:

| Son of X51 | I remember SimEarth, but only played it a few times. SimAnt could've been really neat, but it wasn't challenging enough to play more than twice. My computer isn't fast enough to play Spore. But from what I've seen, it's probably going to be the biggest selling game ever. It's cartoony for the kids, so it will probably be required playing in biology classes all across the country. Except Kansas, where they will play Malibu Barbie Dreamhouse. |

List of best-selling video games - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I can't imagine Spore selling over 50 Million copies, even if it is practically the Sims + Science. "It's not easy banging your head against some mad bugger's wall." -- Roger Waters (Pink Floyd, "Outside the Wall") | |
