I guess working in a job and feeding a family isn't meaningful enough for some people.
Every family has a job and attempts to feed their family, not just Christian families. At least Atheism doesn't set any guidelines for life that restrict your mind and make you ignorant and humble to an imaginary God. As an Atheist you recognize you only have one chance to live and you need to make it good.

That's something pretty much EVERYBODY has to do anmon, not just christians. What she is saying is, it lets them know that they should live life to the fullest, and not be some uptight person who lives a miserable life just because they THINK they'll go to some paradise in an afterlife. Understand?

Plenty of people believe in that afterlife.

Many people enjoy life living it under the guidance of their religion. They don't need or want someone else telling them they are wasting their time just because atheists enjoy pushing their world view on everyone.

Exactly, keep your depressing hopes of just being a corpse after you die, to yourselves.

You're telling people to shut up in a debate forum? Do go on, it's quite fascinating.

I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

Thats just your opinion that Christians are uptight and miserable because of their beliefs.
Try going to Church or a service somewhere, and educating yourself about these people first.
They have family's and cares, passions, jokes, views etc just like anyone else.

Exactly what I feel.

There seems to be a massive conception that most christians are unhappy and restricted by all sorts of rules.

Or because select atheists failed to get a chick in bed because she's a christian prude

I think some atheists just need to work on their technique perhaps!

We aren't pushing our world view on you. We weren't even trying. We were simply saying how we can still enjoy our lives, in fact even more so, because we know we only have one chance.

It's not really that depressing, and it doesn't make it wrong.

Well people's intellectual minds certainly are being restricted by Christianity.

There seems to be a mass conception that athiests are all materialistic, shallow, adulterers who are being manipulated by the devil, and will eventually rot in hell for eternity.

Who do you think has the most to whine about?

You guys, your always complaining that you should be guilt free on anything, with no morals to guide you.
If a Christian prays, its oh leave us alone, stop judging us.
Guilty conscious.

Who said we're moral free?

Just because we don't have a standardized play book doesn't mean we wander around doing whatever the heck we want with no cares whatsoever for the impact of our actions.
