He said that masturbation is wrong, because it trivialises our sacred organs that are there to increase intamacy between a husband and a wife.

Atheism is not an attempt to disprove God's existence, Atheism is the belief that God doesn't exist. It is impossible to disprove God's existence because of God's supposed nature. But at the same time it is completely impossible to prove God's existence.

Really, the argument of "you can't disprove it" is quite pathetic. If I said there is a horde of invisible flying cats that flies around the universe and doesn't need anything to survive and avoids humans, would you believe it simply because it cannot be disproven? I have never heard of that, if you could provide the name and author of this book I would appreciate it because those are some very serious accusations, I know that circumcising young girls is very common in the muslim world but I have not heard of this despicable practice taking place in Christianity. Anyways, on to what I have heard on the subject. I cannot recall any verses in particular but from I do remember is that there is nothing wrong with the act of masturbation. If you are single then it could be okay but if you are married then it might be wrong if you are thinking about someone other than your spouse because of a verse I remember that said something like this, if you lust after another woman than you have already committed adultery with her in your heart.

A lot of metaphors were used I believe, in one verse 'a day is as a thousand years to me' and visa versa could be apt for the biblical creation, except the seven days were more like 7 billion years.
