That's besides the point. People can choose to kill, but its doesn't change the absolute moral standard they are held too.

Have you seen the faith based prison programs? Currently they appear to be the only real program that beats the greater chanced of repeat offenders. Although that may be due more to lack of any other kind of treatment, most prisons still rely on just punishment behind bars as a determent.

Animals don't have a conscious. Or at least we don't know if they do.

Humans are different which is why humans can seem to break with what would be considered normal human behavior. And if your going to claim the biological response then as you say: Prove it! How about data regarding parents who harm their kids willingly.

a.) Google "mitochondrial Eve". I've made this point before and I used an evolutionary biology site to prove it. Mitochondrial evidence projects that it is highly likely that all of humanity descended from a single female progenitress. Or is mitochondria now considered a fairy tale as well? I tell you, I can't keep up.

b.) There are actually accounts of the flood in other historical sources. And if you don't think that kind of rain can happen, go to India in monsoon season. The flood didn't necessarily need to cover "even Mt. Everest". You have to remember that this story is being written by people whose concept of "the whole world" was quite a bit smaller than what the world actually is. Also, as we cannot put a date on the flood (some people try, but their methods are not terribly reliable), we have no evidence as to where the continents were at this time. You forget there used to be just one megacontinent. Although we do not know where things were at this point, you can be assured that the continents weren't where they are now. Lots and lots of drift to account for.

let me simplifiy what this study is saying:

All the desendants of this "eve" were females THATS ALL.
not that she was the only one, not that she was with one man, and not that there is a god.

What distinguishes Mitochondrial Eve (and her matrilineal ancestors) from all her female contemporaries is that she has a purely matrilineal line of descent to all humans alive today, whereas all her contemporaries have at least one male in every line of descent.

Yes, flood, but in EVERY representation of the flood, EVER. it is well understood that the planet itself was all water. This is simply christians changing what their book is saying in order to account for the devastating effects science is having on christianity as a whole.
