![]() Igneous Magma Posts: 279 | Dragging along the weak!! Are there any other men out there who feel like our over regulated society protects the foul mouth weaklings with no character to back it up with to the point that they can't just be given the ass kicking they need here and there to develop some character? When someone insults your women let's say for example because they've always been able to get away with being a little turd knowing that if you touch them they can have you arrested and sued. Does anyone else burn to give them the discipline mommy and daddy didn't ? |

Though there are ways to fight back without looking like you're fighting back. "Gee, I don't know what happened. He charged me and I stepped out of the way." You don't have to tell them that you footswept him. Judo ftw. What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?

You sound like any number of bullies I've know who enjoyed beating the crap out of anyone who pissed them off - or simply got in their way - just because you could. When's then last time you had YOUR ass kicked, deary? . I don't suffer from insanity... I thoroughly enjoy it |

If by foul mouthed weaklings, you mean people who are loud and disruptive in public, they are not protected: they can be charged with causing a public disturbance. If by foul mouthed weaklings, you mean people whom you happen to find annoying, then yes, they are protected and rightfully so.

When's then last time you had YOUR ass kicked, deary? I never bully anyone but thanks for your blind judgement. It's been a long time since anyone was able to kick my ass but when it did happen it taught me a few things like, if your outa control a real man might put you in your place. It built charactor and put me in my place. I'm sorry if you've been bullied alot, when i was young i expirienced this too. I made myself extreemly tough and it never happened again. Please don't confuse me with a bully, you clearly don't understand my thread. I would be the one who defended you from a bully and got my butt thrown in jail for it. Maybe you don't understand that but this thread is more for the few men left who do know what I'm talking about. |

![]() Igneous Magma Posts: 279 | Indeed, that is the best way of doing things when applicable, but doing any of these things will occasionally make people (including law enforcement officials) think you are weak or foolish. Moreover, it can be difficult to prove you actually have a case. The "foul mouthed weakling" can just contradict whatever you say. Yep, and it's just not in my blood to tattle on somebody being mean so that maybe the law will slap their hand for it. Maybe I'm not successfully evolved into a gentle harmless metrosexual modern day man yet, I'm the guy who sees a dude beating a woman and i give him a huge dose of his own medicine instead of driving to a safe distance and calling the cops, sorry if that means i dont fit in this society but i really wont trade in everything that makes me what i believe to be a man even if it is the law! Especially when i have what it takes to correct the situation on my own without tattling or filing a report or wasting time in court or any other paper pushing activity. |

Insult me all you like I'm not a sheep and i don't need to fit in with you to defend you anyway. |

None of the men I've known - now or in the past - measured their manhood by who they could beat up. The vast majority, the kind I now know; professionals, engineers, designers, teachers, etc., were never physically equipped for it in the first place. They would literally have had to search for someone they'd feel confident taking a swing at. The rest who, like myself, were the cocky and aggressive jocks in our youth grew to manhood knowing one thing... you can seriously hurt someone by punching them out. Fights were swell in Jr. High and High schoon when we were still growing and building strength. By college, however, me and my jock buddies were big and strong enough that, for one, nobody messed with us. And two, we could hurt someone if we chose to... or by accident. There's two recent cases here in San Diego, both involving well known surfers. One was a popular champion surfer who, alas, had a dark side... he was a bully who liked finding reasons to pick fights. He comes out of a store one day to find some dood trying to chat up his girl friend. He starts to "put the guy in his place", throws a wrestling move on the kid, and plants his face in the pavement. The younger guy panicked, pulled out his belt knife, swung it wildly behind him and punctured the bully's aorta. He died, and the kid was acquitted in court on self defense. The second was a group of 4 18/20 yr-olds who thought they'd "give some asshole a lickin' " for some perceived insult. What they administered after only a few punches was serious head injury, that resulted in death. Plus their victim turned out to be a much beloved local surf champion who'd never hurt anyone. Needless to say, the four spent their court time in front of lots of cameras before being convicted of voluntary manslaughter. The only people I've known who threw punches were those who had done it in the past, liked the thrill of it and knew, when they picked a fight, that they were likely to come out on top. Quote:
Not that that's a situation that's ever come up... I don't think I've ever in my life been anywhere with a women where's she's been so insulted as to be "fightin' words". What the sounds like mostly is some man-child whose poor ego is so delicate that they look for slights and excuses to pick fights with someone they know is weaker than themselves. In other words, a bully. Quote:

![]() Igneous Magma Posts: 279 | Alright well now i see where your coming from. You were cocky jock that picked on people not me. You really don't know me at all. If you think i go around looking for a reason to beat people up then it's probably yourself your venting at. I diffuse the vast majority of potentially violent situations without violence and that's definitely my preference. I don't beat up anybody just because i could. I got in the ring with professional heavyweight boxers to remind myself what it feels like to be outclassed in a fight. I lost like i knew i would but I'm anything but a coward so once again you really don't know me. The only thing I can figure here is your projecting your own past onto me. And you say your sorry to share my sign, I was never the cocky jock in high school, even then such behavior disgusted me. I don't hide in a pack and act tough but I can fight my own battles when it comes to that. And if someone is begging to be put back in their right mind I'll do it and in most cases theres a much better mutual respect afterwords. If you don't recognize the lack of discipline in the youth today because nobody ever laid a hand on them then you don't understand my thread. Go ahead and say you don't believe me if you want to but I've been nothing but honest despite all the judgement you pass on me. It's ok if you disagree with me thats what debates are about. But I don't drive a big load truck or have a trophy girl on my arm. I think all that flashy nonsense is immature. I don't go anywhere to try to be noticed or any of that. I just think most of my generation is out of controll because they completely lack discipline. Your very first post was basically threightening to kick my ass or saying it should happen and yer little lemming WOL appearantly agrees with that idea. So to me it seems you still are the cocky jock and like I say you are projecting that onto me, thats all i can figure, otherwise i dont understand your judgements. I am listening though and trying to understand your perspective despite the constant insults. |

Not that I'm calling you a bully but the bully's I know all had perfectly good reasons for picking on weaker kids... "They insulted me... They disrespected me... they gave me a buncha lip... they were messin' with my girl... they thought they were better than me... they thought they were so much smarter than me..."It's always fascinating to see what qualifies as disrespect these days.
