| Heaven and Hell, here's a thought This is an idea I came up with a few years ago. History is decided by the winners, correct? There are plenty of examples, and even more we don't know about, to show this fact. Now, what if hell is just another example. The devil, an ex-angel, whom thought he could do a better job, decided to fight to gain victory, and failed. Then we hear all these stories of his arrogance, his evil ways, and his quest to tempt man towards damnation. What if this is just another example of that rule? What if the devil was just a dissenting political opponent, who lost to heaven, and was forced out, his name burned and blacklisted forever? And then, it would certainly explain his attempts to turn us mortals to his side, as he would merely be trying to earn his place back into power. What are your thoughts on this? I haven't really properly explained this, I think, but it will develop as discussed. (I hope) |
