| Sedimentary Rock Posts: 20 | You are responsible for your soul. Stop crying. So, another generation of whiners. It isn't about Yertle the Turtle; it isn't about George Bush and his creepy friends; it's about generations. It's about human kind, and it's survival. It's about looking ahead, and forward, with a twinkle in your eye and a spring in your step. It's about denying those who believe it's fine to kill small animals and small states. It's about denying the bullies on the playground permission to play with their toys if they decapitate innocents in the process. It's about loving things; all things, without reservation or due process. I guess I'm in the minority based on what I see all around me. Yet, I rejoice in those who chime and resonate with my beliefs........ Let us go forward as a species. Let us go forward as a species chosen by something far more powerful than we. Let us go forward because we choose to do so. Because to choose to do so is the only thing we have left. |

It would be wonderful to forge into the future relying on peace, justice and fraternity. As more people are willing to seek optimism in the future instead of solace in the past, as more accept that love and joy are some of the best human attributes and intolerance and superstitious belief some of the least productive and make a determined effort to live by our best attributes and throw off our worst, we may have a chance to create a future of promise for generations to come. | Igneous Magma Location: Tennessee Posts: 213 | And the past 30 years have been war free? We havent had a 'world war' per say.. because we now are the world.. we dont allow anyone to gain enough power to challenge us and our allies (NATO/UN) We snuff them out in the early stages like any good imperialistic country would do.. As for the topic at hand.. i think many folks feel the same way you and i do..but unfortunately we as many.. are still a vast minority.. The majority of folks have been duped by society into valuing things that classify people completely.. therefor complete unity and peace.. will never be obtained.. or atleast until those majority are shown their retardedness and are willing to change..But until then.. we will continue shooting.. killing.. and taking over everyone who has something we want.. Sad eh? :( You Can't Understand A User's Mind But Try, With Your Books And Degrees If You Let Yourself Go And Open Your Mind I'll Bet You'd Be Doing Like Me And It Ain't So Bad -Alice in Chains : Junkhead |
