| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | Is the Imagination good or dangerous? The imagination exists as part of our thinking abilities, for some reason or another. It can aid in our being creative, in music for example, or when it comes to inventing new things. It can aid us in comprehending beliefs about gods, or other stuff such as astorolgy. Is the imagination a pathway to insantity or the pathway to constructive progress in society? Whatcha' think? |

Imagination as i define it.. is what makes us what we are and what we have become.. without imagination we would not be human.. we would be animals again.. doing things one way.. and no other.. using ONLY natural instincts that where bred in us for generations and generations.. So in a sense of societal gains..imagination is a wonderful tool that helps us survive and adapt.. nothing new comes about without imagination But in the same sense.. imagination will probably be the end demise of man kind.. the yearn to have more.. and to be able to do it easier or more efficiently.. isnt exactly the way mother nature intended for it to be.. or atleast in my opinion.. or it could be all paranoia.. we could be just as natural to the world as anything.. and our technology and imagination could be just what makes the world change again.. for the better or worse.. i guess we just have to rely on our imagination to get us through those times You Can't Understand A User's Mind But Try, With Your Books And Degrees If You Let Yourself Go And Open Your Mind I'll Bet You'd Be Doing Like Me And It Ain't So Bad -Alice in Chains : Junkhead |
