Volconvo is a fantasy that only exists in your mind

Prove that it isn't.

That's quite impossible when you set your epistemelogical standards so high.

So you admit that you cannot prove this is anything more than your own private Idaho?

Why should we prove anything? If this is all in our minds, then we have serious issues with our own minds, and need clinical help, because we are debating with ourselves!

Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route?

So how would you go about proving that it was real, then?

It's not that weird. We've all had nightmares, haven't we?

And I can name a couple of phantasms on this board that fit that description quite well.

And no, I won't name them.

Not a day goes by that I don't see something that reinforces my belief that people are idiots.

Can't be a fantasy, if it was everyone here would have the same beliefs as me, in which case I wouldn't be here in the first place because I like to argue, and you can't argue with someone who agrees with you. So if it was my fantasy I wouldn't be here. I'm replying so I must be here and thusly can't be my fantasy.

You saying that Volconvo exists only in MY mind then I feel sorry for all of you that have to share space with the thoughts that go though my head.

If I know someone else in real life that also is on Volconvo that would mean It couldn't exist just in my mind. But then again everything could just be a figment of my imagination. Or would it technically be a collective imagination. And then wouldn't we commit partial self-suicide. The ramifications of that idea....

Not so. You invented us just to have someone to debate with. That's why all our arguments are incorrect, and all of yours are reasonable. We're just intellectual punching bags you set up yourself to train your bored, delusional mind.

We don't exist.

Or they could just be patronizing you, knowing that if you knew the truth (this message board is completely in your mind) the results would have overly catastrophic effects on your psyche.

Don't submit to their patronizing! Show them you know Volconvo doesn't exist!

Heh. You can't prove ANYTHING exists...

Sure you can. You just have to adjust your qualifications for what it means to "exist."

Have numbers always existed? Did we discover them inscribed on a rock by God?

No, they're a figment of human imagination. But they explain facets of reality that cannot otherwise be explained. Therefore, we made them exist through our imagination, and the people who use them accept the fact that they have to agree they exist in order to develop more complex theories based on them.

Why bother when all the evidence appears to indicate that we are, in actuality, sensing something very similar to reality? The burden of proof for this statement clearly lies with fushigi, being that he's the one who's contradicting the given evidence.

Since when are you part of my fantasy? Where is Ricardo Mantleban. This fantasy sucks. I want my money back.

I'd like to thank Charlie Hodge, bringing me scarves and water.

Yeah I guess if it was really a fantasy there'd be less of the insults and short shrift and more of the topless Hawaiian girls and mai tais.
