The basic premise is that even those of us who require proof to believe in something might end up making a decicion based on faith. I am curious on what the others here think. |

It is as varied an answer as individuals can describe, meaning, all answers are different. All decisions require an element of faith, even if it is only faith in the concretes one has observed or stored for mental relativity. However, point to any game of 'chance' (that incorporates something like a roll of the dice) that is played on a computer and it is invariably created through a (designed) program called a random number generator. Amazingly, even random coincidence is often generated through intelligent design. The last verse of my poem, "The Puppet Master" (posted previously somewhere else on another thread) says it all: So if you're feeling lucky Remember, nothing's left to chance For without the puppet's Master The puppet would not dance My faith is stirred but never shaken. I'm the proof that evolution works... You're the proof that it doesn't. If I had a button, I'd push it! Can I push yours? |

The nature of existence of our universe, solar system, planet, and life itself function very well based upon natural law, natural environment, and the natural course of history created by a very natural God. Unfortunitely the nature and existence of God cannot be proved from the falliable limited perspective. Also, your poem just says that without a puppet master, a puppet doesn't move on its own. I don't see the similarities to where you can apply that situation to this one.
