| Spiral Out Location: Canada Posts: 514 | How does the bible/religion explain races? Can't say I've ever been to church or read the Bible, so I was wondering how religions explain races. Some thiests don't believe in evolution and believe there was a first man on Earth, so I am wondering what the explanation is. Sorry if there is already an explanation--I'm kinda ignorant when it comes to the specifics of religions. Praying for tidal waves. Learn to swim. |

Hindu religion, however, have divided humans into four classes based on their set mind frame and requirement in smooth functioning of day to day fuctioning of society. First class is Brhamins whose liking and thus fuction is to study, gain knowledge and further teach to propagate it to others down the incoming populace. The second class is Khetriya whose liking is for fightening and therefore have been given the responsibility of protecting their area of living from invasion from outsider or anemy. The third class Vaishas who have business mind and therefore works for agriculture, business and other day to day commodities production, utilisation and trade. The fourth class is Shudras whose bent of mind is to serve others and take therefore the job of cleaning, decoration and maintenance of belongings of others and of own. Also, world over regional cutures locally developed have turned into various races. Concluding religions do not explain but are the root cause of race formation. :) |

It took place on the plain of Shinar at a site called the Tower of Babel (babel=confusion). It can be found at Genesis 11. Gen 11:1 The whole world had one language with a common vocabulary. Gen 11:2 As people moved toward the east, they found a plain in Shinar [Babylonia] and settled there. Gen 11:3 They said to one another, "Let's make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They used bricks as stones and tar as mortar. Gen 11:4 Then they said, "Let's build a city for ourselves and a tower with its top in the sky. Let's make a name for ourselves so that we won't become scattered all over the face of the earth." Gen 11:5 The LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the descendants of Adam were building. Gen 11:6 The LORD said, "They are one people with one language. This is only the beginning of what they will do! Now nothing they plan to do will be too difficult for them. Gen 11:7 Let us go down there and mix up their language so that they won't understand each other." Gen 11:8 So the LORD scattered them all over the face of the earth, and they stopped building the city. Gen 11:9 This is why it was named Babel, because there the LORD turned the language of the whole earth into babble. From that place the LORD scattered them all over the face of the earth. If you analyse more intrinsically, all the four states of mind exist in all the humans. Depending on the sorrounding situation, one of the states predominates the other three natures. Thus, all thepersons become at times Brahmin, Khetriya, Vaisha or Sudhera depending on requirement. Same person reads, teaches, protects, involve in business and also at times serve others. ![]() | |

Are you sitting down? This should amaze and astound you! However, knowing what I do about mindsets, I am sure that most opposing attitudes will RESIST this truth. The reason for the Dark Ages was the LACK of access to the Holy Bible! It was AGAINST THE LAW to have EVEN the smallest portion of this amazing book, punishable by DEATH! No one, outside of the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (the RCC) was ALLOWED to READ or INTERPRET scripture. The people of the world were LITERALLY kept in the DARK from the TRUTH! Scriptures didn't say that the earth was flat, the RCC did! The Bible said that the earth was a SPHERE! Galileo discovered that the earth was round from the pages of the Bible, which he had to read furtively and secretly, at the risk of his (physical) life. What was the result of this Book of Light being withheld from humanity? The accompanying Dark Ages! Ever hear of a man called Dante Alighieri? Considered one of Italy's greatest poets, he was most famous for his work "La commedia", better know as "The Divine Comedy" or "Dante's Inferno". Dante lived in the late 13th and early 14th century and was a native of Florence. It is from this book that the modern understandings of 'hell' and 'purgatory' and 'paradise' come from, NOT the Bible. The reason is simple. The Bible was OUTLAWED and inaccessible. Dante's works were not. Truth was OUT, fiction was IN. This is the reason for the Dark Ages. A Roman controlled 'Church of the Beast' which dispensed their perverted brand of religion. The Dark Ages would (begin to) end when Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis to the door of the RCC and began the Age of Reformation. The invention of the printing press and the translation of the Bible (and other works of science) into the languages of the common man brought the world quickly into the Age of Enlightenment. So now you know. Truth is a beautiful thing, isn't it? My faith is stirred but never shaken. I'm the proof that evolution works... You're the proof that it doesn't.
