What is holding humanity back?

What has eating vegetables have to do with humanity? Hitler was your vegetarian and he's a role model for humanity?

Neaderthals were a throwback to earlier primate physiogomy but with larger brains. Still, the heavy molars and general beefed up strength indicates a more vegetarian diet like gorillas. Larger size, stronger limbs, equal brain size, yet Neaderthals are not with us today. Why is that?

Proves my point. Gorillas never evolved beyond gorillahood. Meat-eating hominids did evolve because they were smarter.

Every Christian must create their own "Jesus" because you are right, no proof exists to verify the man's reality other than words written about him by others long after the fact. However, what cannot be dismissed or discredited is the fact that Something hit the Holy Land around 2000 years ago that inspired many writers to tell their stories of Jesus Christ. This may be all we will ever have to go on, a Spirit of Christ, but that's enough if it is truly of God's intention to provide the world with the ultimate image and icon of self-sacrifice for the benefit of others.

I myself believe the Talmud's slanderous accounts of Yeishu ben Pantera are likely to be as close to the historical Jesus as we will get just as the "Q" Sayings found in the Synoptic Gospels and Thomas are as close to the authentic teachings of Yeishu that we are likely to get. Still, the Spirit of Christ in the Story of Jesus Christ is powerful enough to stand on its own. Myths can motivate humanity, change human behavior, as much as real events. Just look at how Jewish myths of origin affected the development of Western Civilization.
