Question for Muslims

I've noticed recently a lot of Muslims on this message board. I never noticed it before.

It's interesting. Not that I agree with any theist, but it is interesting to see the Islam advocates.

Here's my question: In Western societies, Christians come face-to-face with atheists somewhat regularly -- especially since the Internet; for those of you who practice Islam, and especially if you (or someone you know well) has been a Muslim in a non-Western society, do you find that Muslims in non-Western societies are debated by atheists much at all?

Note, I'm not asking about Western societes and I'm not asking about Muslims encountering Christians or Jews, but I'm asking about Muslims encountering atheists in non-Western societies. Does it happen much?

I am assuming it happens rarely, if ever. What's your take (either personally or through family or friends)?

Oh of course, lol there are millions of muslims in western societies im sure tons have debated with atheists. The problem is most atheists are atheist because they like it, it has no restrictions or rules. Im1 6 so the youth i debate with whom are atheist have absolutely no reason or knowledge on it, just that they don't want to have restrictions in religion. its actually hard to encounter an atheist who actually knows what there talking about, other then that there are tons of scholars and people whom debate with theist the thing is, no1 actually wins in the end. I can provide proof of gods existence the atheist can lash the proof back, he can prove god doesn't exist i can lash it back, its literally an on going cycle. The thing is Christians can ONLY argue with atheists, I advise a Christian to never ever try and argue with a person of another faith whom as well enough knowledge about Christianity. Christianity has so many flaws and errors, and literally even a child would be able to prove it wrong. Although, I show much respect to every religious scripture on this planet, I cant say i agree with all of them.

I can provide proof of gods existence
I have not read your OP of thread fully, but here I would definitely like to listen to you on:

i) Proof for existence of Allah (God)!

ii) Proof for Allah the only real God!

Though, I am not Muslim but I happen to discuss about Idol worship with one Eastern Muslim in India.

The Muslim friend very rationally asked me Idol worship by Hindus (I being one) is absolutely illogical. He said how can a creation (Idol) by artist could be the God of its own maker. For a moment I was silent, thinking his argument to be very correct.

But then, just out of curiosity, I asked him how else one should worship God. He like 1Slam said, we should worship only one the supermost God, Allah. I asked him, had he seen Allah!! He said No, he had not! I demanded has anybody else seen him. He again replied in negative. I could tell him convincingly that till you or anybody else for that matter bring real Allah (God) to me, let me manage with artificial man made symbolic God, (Idol) only. The logical reason being, it is easier to concentrate on something manifested than on imaginery identity. In fact I feel God is a force because of which whole universe and beyond exist and move.:(

This is a parradox. You can prove God exists and the atheist can prove he does not. Do you mean that your 'proof', and indeed his, is purely subjective? Surely belief in God is an article of faith and, as such, any attempt to 'prove' the existence of God outlines a lack of faith.

My Grandfather is a penticostal christian, and for him proof of Gods existence comes in many different forms, all of which are a matter of feelings. IE. how they feel when they are rolling about the church floor talking in tongues; how they feel when the music (gospel) gets a hold of them. People feel the presence of God. They feel him entering their body. They feel his love, his power, etc. The point is is that all this is subjective. They cannot say "there he is over there, look." No one can see God, they simply feel him, but in order to feel him you must first believe and then feeling him will be all the proof you need, but what if you cant believe without proof? What if you arn't capable of blind faith? Eternal damnation. I can't prove God does exist but who can point to him and say "There he is, over there. See?"
