What do you guys think of Christian Zionis, a belief that paradise for Christians can only be achieved once Jews are in control of the Holy Land? It seems to be gathering strength in the United States and forging alliances that are giving increasingly weird shape to American policy toward the Middle East.

It's a big mistake. Any insightful Christian should be able to see the horror of Israel's godless cruelty.

Christians are treated like dirt by the Jews, just like the Muslims in Palestine/Israel.

That's in reference to the end of the world and the new earth coming in. Indeed the Jew will rule the world, but the world isn't going to be as it is now...this is really hard to explain if one isn't an avid Bible reader.

The reason they beleive this is not because they think jews should control the holy land, rather they beleive it because the bible prophesies that the Jews will control the holy land during the endtimes. This does not say that it is good or bad for the jews to control the land just that they will. Its not as if goal A must be acheived before event B occurs. It is that when B occurs A will have happened. It is a little difficult to see the differenence but there is one. I think this veiw is based on an accurate interpretation of the Bible, but i do not beleive it is something we should try and make happen. It is something that will merely occur before the world ends, but if i make it happen 500 years early this does not change the time of the end of the world.
