"May the Eternal One, our Father in heaven, bless every effort to eliminate from our world any misuse of religion as an excuse for hatred or violence," Benedict told a delegation of the Anti-Defamation League, a U.S. group that fights racism and anti-Semitism." Ratzinger is such a HYPOCRITE he constantly stokes hatred against gays/lesbians calling us a threat to families, in Canada, Italy, Spain and because he got millions of Muslims mad enough to assasinate him, NOW he thinks hatred and violence isn't such a hot idea. ![]() |

And if he could get us jailed for our conduct, he probably would; he'd love us just the same, though. Yeah, religion is a beautiful thing sometimes. It just makes bigotry seem so considerate. If only I could saith, so should I. |

And from who, who do they consider constrains them at this time. It themselves, they who cannot feel their own freedoms because they are scared ? Is that not so? ![]() |

Somalia = oil checkpoint port. The US is just in for the money; they don't care about Islam even though we have a theocracy. | BANNED Posts: 2,630 | TORTURE: never forget - NI 327 - Worldbeaters... Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger "In 1986 Ratzinger issued a letter to the Catholic Bishops in which he wrote that homosexuality was a ‘tendency’ towards an ‘intrinsic moral evil’. A few years later, in 1992, he rejected the notion of human rights for gays, stressing that their civil liberties could be ‘legitimately limited’. He followed up by remarking that ‘neither the church nor society should be surprised’ if ‘irrational and violent reactions increase’ when gays demand civil rights. Not a man to mince his words, Ratzinger urgently set to work to ferret out gay-sensitive clergy. AMERICAblog: A blog for a great nation that deserves the truth Tuesday, April 19, 2005" Ratzinger defends violence against gays "Sure, violence is wrong, but fags shouldn't be surprised when their own existence invites violence. Spoken like a true former member of the Hitler Youth. Links here and here. Raising Ratzinger ‘It is deplorable that homosexual persons have been and are the object of violent malice in speech or in action. Such treatment deserves condemnation from the church’s pastors wherever it occurs. It reveals a kind of disregard for others which endangers the most fundamental principles of a healthy society. The intrinsic dignity of each person must always be respected in word, in action and in law. ‘But the proper reaction to crimes committed against homosexual persons should not be to claim that the homosexual condition is not disordered. When such a claim is made and when homosexual activity is consequently condoned, or when civil legislation is introduced to protect behavior to which no one has any conceivable right, neither the church nor society at large should be surprised when other distorted notions and practices gain ground, and irrational and violent reactions increase (No. 10). 8. "What is at all costs to be avoided is the unfounded and demeaning assumption that the sexual behavior of homosexual persons is always and totally compulsive and therefore inculpable. What is essential is that the fundamental liberty which characterizes the human person and gives him his dignity be recognized as belonging to the homosexual person as well’ (No. 11)." Popes views against gays are long and detailed "Pope’s views against gays are long and detailed" 2000 years of church homophobia "RATZINGER - FUNDAMENTALIST POPE Disaster for women, gays and liberals " |

| BANNED Posts: 2,630 | It really doesn't matter if the hatred is being felt by gays/lesbians whether objective sources are recording it or not.Spain, Canada, and Italy's governments are NOT allowing threats made to them to force them to change giving gays equal rights, so those would be objective sources IMO. Muslims don't need to show objective sources to be outraged by Ratzinger, and neither do gays, who have had much more, and much more ugly hate spewed at them from this pope. No priest, bishop, or cardinal would go unpunished from this pope, if he spoke in favor of gays, he is absolute ruler of that Church. |

| BANNED Posts: 2,630 | Elected is to broad a word for how a pope is chosen by a very select conclave of cardinals who ONLY serve at the pleasure of the previous pope. The pope is picked from a very short list, by a select entrenched group, and once he is selected, he rules with ABSOLUTE power until he dies. |

He uses religion to hate gays, and then he goes off saying "Condemns using religion as an excuse for hatred and voilence" I just don't get this asshole....
