| Molten Ash Posts: 38 | My beliefs I'm a Christian, and believe there is one way to heaven, and to God. He gave us our instruction manual (The Bible), sent us an example of how we are to live (Jesus). I believe all what the Bible says, and not just because of what I learned in Sunday school, but also because of what I've seen in my life and in others. If you ask me, believing in many faiths with many different paths is like believing in no path at all. If you are going to believe in God (or god) then you need to be firm in what you believe. I'm firm in my beliefs in Christianity, and have enjoyed reading books such as the Shroud of Turin, and Brother Andrew to help me stregnthen my faith. A lot of all religions is about faith, but then again so is science, so if you are going to believe in something, you better be pretty dang sure you BELIEVE in it. |

Christianity is faith based, and those with faith don't need "physical" proof of the existence of God or Jesus. But I see nothing wrong with reading the book on the Shroud of Turin if you already have faith. Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.:) Love, Madeline Me and God, we'd be mates ;-) |

Name one other nation or society that has survived exile, slavery, persecution, ethnic cleansing, and wholesale slaughter like the Jews and has remained an intact nation and then has returned intact culturally, linguistically, and religiously to their homeland. There are none. That truth speaks volumes. |

The Jews were predicted to be scattered again after Jesus crucifixtion. It happened. They were predicted to return at some point in history. Ezekiel predicted it would be 2520 yrs from a certain date. That day came on EXACTLY May 14, 1948 when the UN voted to form Israel. At what point does coincidence end? This is only ONE example. There are hundreds of others. Mathmatical probabilities speak against coincidence. |
