This forum has seen just about enough of the arguments over who has the burden of proof, whether unproven claims are false or simply unknown, and what exactly is the definition of atheism. I think that I am going to make it my mission to squash these arguments wherever they rear their ugly heads. I'm not sure how to do it yet; I think my first attempt will be to plead for some sanity from all of those involved, and if that doesn't work, I'm going to post on old and new threads until every single atheism-definition argument is banished to page 10 of this forum. Isn't there anything else philosophical that we want to discuss? Clearly there is, as there are many, many threads that thankfully have nothing to do with this unending absurdity. Why don't we all agree to stick to those ideas, or even better, go back and resurrect some older arguments, and just let the absence of evidence threads die on the vine? Who's with me? | Sedimentary Rock Posts: 8 | I'm agnostic, I do not belive there is a god, but I don't deny the possibility of there being a god. Denying one thing in such incomplete knowlage about anything compared to the knowlage there is to know about this whole universe, is very ignorant, as well as accepting one thing as it being completely true. So I belive there is no proof in any god or supreme force or being, but I don't deny it. |

And I don't want to hear some bullshit that gods ways are beyong our comprehension, that is obsurd if you ask me. I look in the mirror is proof that there is no god, god made me ugly and I have to deal with this curse for the rest of my life, some god, thanks!!! |
