The post Sonart replies to stated that "God is God, He defies the laws of physics." Then Sonart proceeds to try and shoehorn God back into Sonart's box labeled "Laws of Physics."

But, if God defies the laws of physics, might... God Himself have provided the light against the darkness? There are a number of passages where God is referred to as "light."

Yeah, and he could be the Flying Spaghetti Monster, too, if you want to get really creative. If you insist on divorcing god from physics and rational thought, then we can only discuss him form your viewpoint (he exists, even though we can't prove it) or mine (he doesn't exist, I don't believe in the supernatural). Since I don't accept things that are supposed to exist beyond our natural processes and comprehension, we will never come to a mutual understanding.
