I would like to talk about how much of our opinions are really our own. Most people are fed ways of thinking from their parents from a very young age. Thus we start believing in what our parents believe. Another way we get our opinions is probably from some guy on tv. We think "Oh, he's smart. I'm going to listen to him." But how much of our opinions were created from self experience or our own creative thinking. It is a very small percentage. That is why we must always be questioning what we believe and asking ourselves why we believe it. If we do not do that we, as a person, will never evolve into a more intelligent member of society and our country will evolve if all its people do not. It is because people do not know where their opinions come from and do not question themselves that our country is stuck in such a political rut, with democrats and republicans bickering about who is more right or left, rather than getting to the big issues that need to be addressed.
