The point being that atheists are often accused of not being as charitable as theists. Articles like this illustrate that charity has more to do with an individual's empathy than their religious beliefs or lack of same.

True, but atheists are not third-class citizens. I don't need that verified by the religious. Nor do I need atheists to verify that believers aren't third-class citizens.
