The stage is set. We seem to be, in many ways, ideologically opposed. Our respective gladiators will face off on your home turf. All I can say is, "Good Luck, but really, I hope we beat you 42-0, or some such number, and you and the rest of the world cry in pain and humiliation as the Redskins slash and burn through the NFL on the way to great glory!" But I'm not a fanatic or anything... All I see when I look down, something jumpin' on the ground, Scratchin' dirt, cluckin' in the barnyard - Tell me, could that be you? John Kay

I sometimes think that we'd be better off without the helmets and then we could get rid of the rest of the equipment. My elbows and knuckles and lower back remember many facemasks. I always enjoyed rugby as well. but, God's football is more chess-like. |

The NFL asked the Kiwis what they would need to make it happen, The Kiwis responded saying that all they need is a disclaimer from each NFL players saying that the All Blacks will not be held responsible in any way for the injuries they will inflict. NFL vs All Blacks... That I would love to see...The NFL injury list would grow by the second!!! Football is for girls. PS - Matt, the exiles have no chance in 2007, c'mon Sarries (hopefully with sick-note Farrell at 12). I was there when Everitt scalped you at the last in the swirling snow at Vicarage Road last Tuesday - just you wait 'til the 9th of May when you come down to Madjeski - you have no chance!!As for poor ol' sick-note - you see he's offered to play for free because he feels so shit about the amount of injury time he's had? Well done, that man! I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered. -George Best, on being asked what he did with his footballing fortunes.

Had a ticket but ended up having to work a 14hr shift... ...double shit day! Farrell fit would be good for England and Sarries. He's taking the enormous amount of stick about his "freak toe accident" rather well. I think having a sense of humour about injury is a neccessity if you want to play for Sarracens Thomas Castaignede being a great example. Nice to find a fan of a real game though. Do you play? ![]() Moderator Location: Reading, UK. Posts: 6,439 | Yeah, I reckon Farrell would be fun to have about - he'd bounce Tindall right out of contention for any centre slot for England. And Sarries do have ridiculous luck with injuries, don't they?? I attempted to start again this season, but found I lack any sort of fitness at all!! Mind you, I'm a prop/hooker, so it's not as if I need too much ![]() Basically, it's off down the gym & swimming pool to sort meself out in time for next season - I hope!! Yourself? | Redskins Rule Location: South-Western Virginia Posts: 2,456 | Well Shield, It was not pretty. Your defense made our offence look pretty silly. We got up early and held on... offence sells tickets, defense wins championships and our defense just eeked out the victory. Great game! I thought I was going to die during the 4th quarter, especially when, from the back at full speed it looked like you got that TD. Whew! Yeah, mostly at 9 but I've been playing in the centers for the last couple of years. Been out most of this year with a back injury... sucks... ![]() Otherwise....hmm...actually, I can get most of Abbey RFC down if I call in a few favours... ![]() EDIT:- Oh, by the way, let me know if you manage to get yourself a ticket for May 6th May at the Madjeski (not 9th May as I thought earlier). I'll convert you into a plastic Paddy for the day, win or lose. ![]() I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars.
