The Republican Devastation

Since the Republicans will be as likely to listen to my advise as Democrats on the "desperation thread will listen to those folks. Anyways, the Congressional Republicans have a considerable challange facing them, either they produce some serious hearings into the impeachable and multiple offenses this administration perpetrated, or they will ALL be replaced and a Democrat controlled Congress will hold the hearings after the 2006 elections. Bush, Cheney, Gonzales, Rumsfeld have all commited crimes abuse of power, propaganda (domestic and internationally),illegal spying, illegal black prisons in Eastern Europe for purposes of torture, and denying access to international observers.Pentagon has files on anti-war groups in their files which by LAW should have been deleted.
The Democrats are in a much better position than republicans in the next elections, Frist is under investigations for BOTH AIDS funds being used for croney's campaigns, and insider trading in stock of his family's hospitals, Delay is dead in the water, with money laundering and ties to Abramoff scandals. Speaking of Abramoff that big ol' queen is singing like a DIVA, and it will have tenacles ALL THOUGH THE RNC.
um........who's desperate NOW?

This is too funny!

What worries me is "What Is Going To Replace It?"

If it weren't for the fact that most libs are ANTI gun - there would probably be another civil war in this country to stop the liberal socialism that is trying to infest our government!

It has gotten out of hand!

Slanted facts, try looking at a couple of threads in Politics before loosely talking about 'libs' and 'socialists' - they address what the terms actually mean.

What makes you think that I am so clueless? I may be new to this board - but I can assure you - I have been on line for 7 or 8 years debating on the topic of politics

Loosely? I ONLY speak point blank - Nothing loose about what I say!

IF I SAY IT - bank on the fact that I mean it!

So do explain: What are you referring to as LOOSE?

Don't beat around the bush - be to the point!

Last edited by SlantedFacts; Dec 27, 2005 at 03:05 pm. Reason: used an incorrect word - What do you referring - word "DO" is wrong

I'm not implying anything of the sort, merely that we have an awful lot of people turn up and sling these terms around without any thought to them. There's a couple of threads about what socialism is and what being 'liberal' is all about....that's all.

You used the term liberal socialism without a shred of irony.

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

TRUE! It was not ironic.

However; to elaborate on my opinion - Liberals and Socialists are closer to being on the same page politically than they are associated with the Democrats.

Let's look at two simple facts:

FACT ONE: Howard Dean is a very successful politician from Vermont with a strong voter base there.

FACT TWO: Howard Dean has endorsed a registered Socialist for Senate (NOTE: not a democrat - an actual SOCIALIST!)

You have heard the saying
Quote:
A bird in hand is worth two in the bush
In simpler terms - Dean has his "bird in the hand" on the socialist vote - that way in his voter bush he will have two in the bush 1- the socialist voter base as well as 2- the liberal voter base

Common sense makes us face the fact that in a state that has consistently voted in a socialist senator has also voted in Howie Dean.

It is proof that SOCIALIST mindset's "DO Like" the Dean style Liberalism - why else would he have been voted into office by a very pro socialist voter base in Vermont?

Lesser of two evils? Tactical voting in a system biased towards two parties? I don't know the individual case here, just as you won't know the details of Tower Hamlets etc, these arn't that important. Looking at the actual theories, the two ideologies are highly distinct, and economically polar opposites.
