| BANNED: Repeated warnings, troll Posts: 1,431 | Did you really listen to George Bush at the press conference? Does he really sound like a Hitler, a Joe Stalin, a dictator desiring to enslave America? His speech making, does it sound like a man crafty and silver tongued like a con man? With his very nice wife and growing daughters, would this family man be a blood thirsty tyrant like Stalin, really? Does he have the looks of a man hell bent on the destruction of America as a free nation? He passionately scolded the press for telling the enemy how to protect themselves from our intelligence Wouldn't you have been pleased with him if his techniques would have saved the towers? If, through his efforts, we win the war over the terrorists in Iraq; would you be pleased with him? Would you be able to praise him and America if his plan succeeded? Tell us please what he would have to do in order to please you. Too make you happy and supportive. Last edited by Zealot; Dec 20, 2005 at 01:43 am. Reason: correction |

| Igneous Magma Posts: 244 | Bush has family - so did Stalin ! The good thing about Hitler was that he managed to unite the nation behind his cause ( even though it was a wrong cause ). Bush failed to do so - even his cause is wrong too! He can please us by stopping his policy of terrorizing the world - it is so simple. And , Iraqi guarilas are no terrorist - they are freedom fighters ( except those belong to OBL ). |

It's utterly pointless, especially in our 500-channel world, to think that anyone is going to tune in to hear him speak, except for his few fanatical followers. All he's usually doing is preaching to the choir, which is why he usually comes off as a fanatic, he can get away with it because everyone watching is just lapping it up. |

Uphold, and protect the constitution, like we swore in his oath of office. That would be a good start.

| Redskins Rule Location: South-Western Virginia Posts: 2,451 | Try this on for size. I don't agree with his policies, so I don't support his policies. If he wants my support, he needs to become a progressive. He's not a progressive, he won't become a progressive, so he will never get my support, nor my vote. That's the beauty of our system. I am not bound to agree with or support him simply because he was elected. My voice still matters. I am bound to accept that he gets to run all the executive departments, he gets to make foreign policy decisions and has all the rights and responsibilitites of the office, but I DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE WITH, NOR SUPPORT HIM. Get it? That is one of the things that makes this country great. I have the right to disagree with the President. And, another thing that makes this country great is that we have a constitution that protects my most basic and important freedoms. If the system works the way it is supposed to work, Bush will be in a world of shit for ignoring the 4th Amendment. If he sneaky-squeezes out of this, our Constitution may very well be dust and then I don't know what I will do. Moving to Canada seems like the chicken-shit option, but how do you alter the course of a nation that sells it's soul to feel safe from a group of people who, though truely dangerous, have no real power in this world. All I see when I look down, something jumpin' on the ground, Scratchin' dirt, cluckin' in the barnyard - Tell me, could that be you? John Kay |

| It's my life Location: Texas Posts: 532 | Bush is a former boozer and coke head. He's a functioning illiterate, who really sucks at oratory. His speeches make my ears hurt. Now, Laura, I like her. She's classy and educated. And she's a booklover like me, used to a librarian. Makes her ok in my book. The girls, well, erm, I think Daddyo and the Secret Service have had to cover up some of the unseemly partying that has been happening, something about underage drinking! How does one underage drink, with Secret Service all around! lol (I bet those girls arent gonna be virgins when they get married!.) Anyhoo....I was reading on the front page of my local paper, several days ago, when Bush made his five speeches and basically he was admitting in the same speech that maybe "we recieved false info" or some such, prior to the invasion of Iraq and in the same breath telling Americans not to despair, we gotta keep our troops over there to secure the world from the terrorists! We really should not have went over there in the first place, just might of had inaccurate intel, but well we're over there, so let's just hang around.... Maybe it's just me, I dunno, doesn't make alot of sense. If you want the country to go to hell in a handbasket, then vote for the one who can drive you there blindfolded. |

Well Liliy, Clinton was a lady chaser with no conscience or decency toward his wife and daughter. A bald faced liar who lost his license for lying and then was impeached, but didn't have sense enought to resign. Now what do suppose he would have done after 9/11 had he been Pres. then??? Oops, Bill said he smoked it but didn't inhale, do you beleive that? Last edited by Zealot; Dec 23, 2005 at 03:27 am. Reason: Addition

You live in your own little world, and we all have different names in your little world. Well, then I'll have to call you something else until you learn to be polite. And yeah, Clinton probably inhaled. Through his mouth. Bush inhaled through his nose (and a rolled up dollar bill). What's the difference? It's not defending Bush to defame every other president. I say: Yes, in the fact that he makes grand statements with no backing, such as "we are protecting your civil liberties" knowing damn well it is his purpose to subvert them. Zealot said: His speech making, does it sound like a man crafty and silver tongued like a con man? I say: Give credit where credit is due. His speech writer crafted the words. And yes, he does sound like a silver tounged con man, because he says one thing, and does another. Examples: Campaigning: Bush said "no new nation building" Voted in: Bush said "we have to go for WMD threat" Later voted in: Bush said "we can't find any WMD, but we are sure it was there" Later voted in: Bush said "we went to remove Saddam, and help build a better Iraq." The age old hypocrisy, say one thing, do another. Zealot said: With his very nice wife and growing daughters, would this family man be a blood thirsty tyrant like Stalin, really? Does he have the looks of a man hell bent on the destruction of America as a free nation? I say: He is know where, in any way representative of a typical American family. His families wealth has isolated him and the rest of them from reality. That wealth came from selling out American ideals from Prescott Bush, and his daddy. Zealot said: He passionately scolded the press for telling the enemy how to protect themselves from our intelligence Wouldn't you have been pleased with him if his techniques would have saved the towers? I say: No. There is no level of encroachment on rights or constitutional process I would accept, even it brought those lives back. Lives of a few, are not worth the enslavement of all. Zealot said: If, through his efforts, we win the war over the terrorists in Iraq; would you be pleased with him? I say No, results don't change the process he used to get them. He is still a treasonous piece of shit that need to be executed after having his famillies illegal income taken back, and being found guilty for the Constitutional violations he has set in motion. Zealot said: Would you be able to praise him and America if his plan succeeded? I say: No, the end does not justify ANY means of acheiving them. Zealot said: Tell us please what he would have to do in order to please you. Too make you happy and supportive. I say: To undo the wrongs he has made, which he can't. Now I would be happy if he would own up to the lies hes told, the information he helped manipulate, the laws he has broken, and resigned to full mercy of the courts. Even then I wouldn't forgive him, I would only accept the explanation and think he had finally seen the light of his wrongdoings. | Principled Observer Location: Toledo, Ohio Posts: 13,873 | Isherwood said: Osborn, I would only argue with you on the use of "silver tongued". The man can hardly speak a sentence without tripping over words, mispronouncing others and smirking at the most inappropriate times. As an orator, he's pathetic. I say: Yea, that's true. The dumbass can't even say NUCLEAR, let alone give a speech at a collegiate reading level. I should have clarified his speech writer was the one with the silver tongue, because Bush could be handed a perfectly crafted speech, with brilliant overtones rich with history and culture, and dumb it down to a "boy howdy" production of the Washington Hillbillies. How much money could it take to convince Americans this yutz could actually hold this position? $___,000,000.00 I will give him credit on the one speech, the last one I saw on CNN about 3 days ago. That was the most candid speech he has given, and while it basicly sucked, and contained a lot of BS, I will give him credit for taking the questions on the chin, and showing how well he could 'down home' dance around the facts. He learned something at Yale, even if it was only how to BS a BS'er. And those smirks DONT go un-noticed. He is the WORST liar I have ever seen. I forgot where I saw it, as it was some time ago, but we saw a professional speech analyst, analyze one of his speeches in the first or second year of his presidency, and they said that he gave so many signs so often, it was like analyzing a pathological liar. He is a real piece of work. Petition of Redress of Grievances: http://www.givemeliberty.org/default.htm Canadian Lawsuit Against Their National Banks: http://www.freewebs.com/classaction/ Osborn F.
