Gay Island

I have an idea....since homosexuals want all the rights as heterosexuals and a lot of people don't want to give it to them, why don't we just give themtheir own island?.....I'm not saying to ban them from society now........i'm just saying it mightbe a little easier....They can leave and come as they please and can have all the rights they want on their little island.....they'll still be under the American government but will kind of be a colony.....i mean their only like 1% of the American population and i doubt many people would miss them......so give them an island......what do you think?

Better idea... give the island to the homophobic bigots. Or maybe one island for multi-racial homophobic bigots, and another island for homophobic men only who are also misogenists, populated by only really submissive women, and another island for white homophobes who are also racist. Then, there could be a little island for white homophobic, racist, misogenist men who are also fundamentalist christians and can't stand being around non-christians, non-submissive women, non-whites or gays.

The rest of the country we can leave to people who are happy simply being Americans.

funny and trust me to give them their rights is not the easiest way to go about it....they represent a minority and it would offend a majority........like i said before the represent about 1% of the population and about 20% support them and free rights for all.....so i'm guessing the othrt 79% are just gonna sit there and shrug their shoulders?......hahah funny.......call me a homophob.....which i'm not...i'm just syaing if were suppose to reproduce and your relationship is doing shit about that plan that is programmed into our body then i say hell to you

They don't offend me. 50 years ago blacks represented a minority and offended the majority. The majority got over it. Since gays are borne the way the are and harm no one, this sounds to me like it comes under the heading of the majority's problem, not the gays.

Gay men and women comprise 3 to 5% or the population, depending if you how you factor in bi-sexuals. About half of all Americans think homosexuality between consenting adults is fine.

But let's say you're right. Who gives a flying f**k what they think. Blacks, Jews, Gays, it doesn't matter... it's discrimination for something they have no control over, that has no affect on anyone else and doesn't harm anyone else. So quit being an ignorant fool and just get over it.

This is the Misc. forum. We can say what we want - to a certain extent. I'm not insulting you, per se, I'm insulting this concept and the ideas it represents.

Have you ever heard of a phrase - I think it's 'tyranny of the majority'? Or how about 'we hold these truths to be self-evident - that all men are created equal...'. I think you'll find them in a document created about...hmm......200-250 years ago?

As for 'judgement day', etc....I'll stand trial before any god you care to name for advocating the love & rights of my fellow man. How about you?

Nah, too many decent islands would get grabbed by those others. I bagsie the UK & Ireland, Koh Pan Nyang in Thailand, all of Indonesia, Fiji, Samoa, Tuvalu, Noumea and New Zealand. More to come when I think on it!

You are a homophobe, and an ill informed one at that. Gays/lesbians are 3% National population, and in Major cities we are close to 9% of the population.
You can speak to how your body is wired, but DON'T PRESUME to tell me how mine's wired, since you haven't a clue!
