Folks, I think this thread has run its course. It's pretty apparent this guy just wants attention and I for one won't give him any more as the whole attempt to debate him has gotten pointless.

I'm going to hit my special button, the one that looks like an aspirin. It makes the selected poster transparant and silent.

I happen to think he represents their positions both well and accurately.

I'll second that very sorta kinda. We mustn't kick him out. We should keep him for a specimen.

The longer he's here, the less noticeable he will get. That is unless there's more to that wool-head than we can guess. You never know, he might actually spit something relevent. Not intentionally of course. Doeasn't appear bright. He has a way of bringing out the worst in people though. Shows cunning. I was going to be more rude to him. I'm getting tired of being mean already. I'll make fun of him as my sole purpose if he doesn't leave on his own accord or quit being a combative child. Would be dull without him.

But he says scary irrational things. Makes me assert myself. Doesn't mean he should be kicked off. Or me for that matter. :eek: I like this place even if I hate the reasons I'm here. Save Zealot! Pat?

Locutus, you're all right, heh. I think a lot of us come here precisely because there are differences of opinion on nearly any subject imaginable.

But Zealot... I'd say my problems with him stem more from his inability to understand the protocol here than from my distaste for his opinions. Yeah, he adores Bush. But then so does Vicchio, and he gets some respect around here, in fact, I consider him a personal friend. Just because we oppose one another's views doesn't preclude amity. Zealot could fit in here if:

he would learn to use the quote function
he would cite sources with a link
he would stay on topic
he would learn to argue using reasoning
he would reply to questions asked

And if he would just refrain from starting so many trash threads!!

Sean's got it right: I don't like kicking people out except for consistent boorishness. Even then it's hard if they argue well...

Sometimes it's more fun to let them know you are ignoring them but you can still see them. Some people aren't even worth the effort to click the mouse. I see their stuff, shake my head and move on.
It's like the air coming from the refinery a few miles away. It stinks, but you get used to it.
