| Principled Observer Location: Toledo, Ohio Posts: 13,873 | Hello all Are my eyes playing tricks, or are we the only party represented in the "private forums"? This forum is rarely used, and though I feel it essential if other parties have it, I feel in a sense let down, because the forum isn't used much.( my fault here too ) I have no problem losing this private forum, if others agree that it is not serving a purpose, even though I argued for its existence before it was created, and while the "major" parties had their own private forums. I just don't see a need for it if we are the only ones to have it, especially if we aren't using it. I thought I would see what others in here thought, so, what do you think? Libertarians are always relegated to the private forum of politics (by not being allowed to debate the big two). I think we need to put our mesage out to the largest audience possible, which is in direct conflict with the private forum concept. I do think there is some material in here that is worth cutting, and pasting to ones own My Document file, so it does not become lost in the event that this forum is eventually shut down. |

I know at least three people on this forum with almost identicale numbers. (I can't name them off the top of my head) I happen to beieve that the government has a role in preventing monopolies, and limiting the behavior of multi-nationals. All in the name of protecting the citizens. Last edited by Milton Bradley; Oct 28, 2005 at 01:22 pm. |

Too many people stick to to many pre-defined, pre-argued lines that are constantly thrown out by the national corporate media. So many want to simply regurgitate the same statements as Schep on Fox, or Wolf on CNN. It really makes you question the ignorance is bliss argument, does it not? Then the only question is "hey, will that shot hurt?" How sad. I don't know which is worse torture. Being the sheeple, or the voice of reason, that echoes upon empty ears.
