The point being that there's character flaws in leaders which can be annoying, but don't really affect us, and character flaws that end up dragging the rest of us down the road to disaster. Have you ever heard of “Lead by example”? In the military adultery is grounds for a dishonorable discharge. Not only adultery but if a soldier is caught stripping......they are discharged! How can he lead our troops and up hold military standards if he cannot abide by the same rules? | |

But when the Presdent of the United States deliberately lies under oath, that makes him a criminal and the crime is one of dishonesty. I wouldn't want a dishonest criminal as President. Would you? |
