Valentine's Day
Christmas
Her Birthday
Random gifts for no reason.
Consequently, a woman should reciprocate with gifts on these days as well...

Make sure you're dropping lots of hints, or you'll end up with a toaster.

But why buy anything? Why not just say happy birthday or something along those lines (I don't celebrate pegan holidays like Valentines Day)? I would never expect a present from her, except sex but that's free!
Because presents are fun - and women like to have something tangible to look at, hold, whatever from the one they love.

I knew you'd marry that girl! When do you finish school?

i should be all done by the end of next summer.. at the worst, i'll be done by december, 2006.. not too far away. my decision to wait is more practical than anything else.. grad school + a full time job is pretty demanding, aside from life's day to day chores.. right now, i just don't want any extra stuff to have to worry about and add to my stress.. and by that point, none of our families will worry about whether/not we're "ready" to get married.. her family probably wouldn't care if i proposed now, but my family's a bit more conservative - they still love her though.

heh.. but we've been living together for over a year now.. i like to say that we're "practically married".. and we have two cats together... our little family.

I got something tangible for them to hold. (Shifts eyes from side to side)

But in all seriousness though, why spend money? Some of the best things in life are free, like just spending time with one another.

There's a Crosby Stills and Nash song out there with your name on it.

Yesterday I wrote in these pages that I do not hate, or fear homosexuals, but feel profoundly sorry for them. The ladies above are case in point.

Scientists have taken an egg from a rabbit and poked at it with a needle. It was stimulated to divide and it became a little rabbit, a clone of its mom....female, of course.

The article went on to say that this technique "could be carried to a ridiculous extreme". In other words if this technologoy works on people men could become obsolete.

Just think, a society, a world of only females....

Well there are plenty of women who like men, so that's not likely to happen. Although is such a world of only women arose, I woudn't mind visiting it I'm sure enough of them would appreciate manly attributes to keep me buisy.

I agree. They don't know what they are missing out on. But think of it this way Logjam, more women for us!

Dude, you wouldn't be getting any. You would be their slave. They would tie you up and whip you, and then make you do stuff like watch them give a strip tease and then beat you some more if you get aroused. Now some men might be turned on by that sort of thing, but most guys aren't. So count me out for the all female world.

Absolutely. If you were a spaceman who took a trip out into space, and traveled almost the speed of sound and then came back could you find a world populated by only women? (yeah, yeah, I know that it doesn't work that way.) Man those ladies would just about tear you apart! Throw me in that briar patch.

On another bent, there are lesbians who'd also like the ladies shown above. I concurr. I have a close friend (a gent) who said to me years ago. "We've been friends a long time. I'm going to admit something to you that I've never admitted to anyone before."

"What's that?" I asked.

Then he paused and whispered, "I'm a lesbian."

"Me too", I admitted.

I know; it's an old joke....
