No, I just felt like being an ass and posting a topic completely oppostie of the ' Volconvo's Most Idiotic Statements' topic.

And in no way am I nominating myself as bieng even near the most intellignet member.

I'd pretty well agree with that. Of course it helps that I usually concur with Sonart's views, but his intelligence also consists in maintaining a style based on sober, well-sourced posting, with just the occasional touch of sarcasm to spice things up a bit.

Another member in somewhat the same mould -- but with whom I hardly ever agree about anything -- is rmnunez. The odd completely fatuous statement aside, rmnunez's posts are calm and reasoned. Nor does he allow himself (absolutely ever, well, apart from his marathon gringism jag :) ) to be swept up by emotion.
