Which Party to you align with?

I'm GOP... but there are times I think of tossing them the finger...

you guys?

Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route?

GOP in the majority of things on the national level. Statewide, all except our idiot Governor Taft.

I'm not in line with any particular party at the moment. In the last two years (the only two I could vote heh) I've voted for both democrats and republicans on the local, state, and national level. As important as political parties are, they are still just tools to get cannidates elected. The platform isn't legally binding. I tend to vote against the incumbent whenever possible, but there isn't any set rule I go by.

Registered Republican, but I vote Constitution when the GOP strays too far from its base, as it did last election on immigration, trade, spending, etc.

Immigration and spending I agree with you, trade I am not as upset with them over.

Honestly I'm at the point where I feel like giving up on the whole mess. Last year I changed to independent. I almost always vote republican but reserve the right to vote for whichever one I think will do a better job. Unfortunatly in the last elections ( fed & local ) I felt like I was voting for the lesser of two evils :( . I wish the other partys were given national air time so we could hear from all sides before deciding.

I got really caught up in the alternative parties, until I realize they were operating on an ineffective model. The third parties seem to see themselves a loudmouths who are somehow going to berate or cajole the Dems and Rs into adopting the third party's agenda. The purpose for operating a political party is to get cannidates elected, it doesn't make sense to expect your opponents to help you beat them. I doubt we will see any of the now existing alternatives stop acting like lobbying organizations are start aiming to win elections. :(
