Happens EVERY time- Muslims bomb someplace, kill a bunch of people, apologize to the "west" (read FREE countries) for the actions of a "few" but THEN JUSTIFY IT ALL TO THEIR PEOPLE IN THEIR HOMELAND NEWS STORIES! They spread the most outlandish lies about Americans and WHITE Europeans (and of course Jews but that is a given) to their dumbed down populaces.

Bottom line is this quote from that French Visionary Alexis de Tocqueville in 1837:
"Muhammad brought down from heaven and put into the Koran not religious doctrines only, but political maxims, criminal and civil laws, and scientific theories. The Gospels, on the other hand, deal only with the general relations between man and God and between man and man. Beyond that, they teach nothing and do not oblige people to believe anything. That alone, among a thousand reasons, is enough to show that Islam will not be able to hold its power long in ages of enlightenment and democracy, while Christianity is destined to reign in such ages, as in all others."
He was right then and more right now.

The Industrial revolution and open markets (you have to have something other than oil to sell!) have left the Muslim countries in the dust- the only way for them to bring equality is to banish the "West" from their lands and let them trade dates and nuts with each other in peace. Yes they have technology and yes they can build neat buildings (most all of that technology was of course learned in "western universities") But if Woman cant drive, men have to drive them everywhere, they cant go into debt to start businesses (they do but dont call it debt) and they treat all non believers as hell going infidels barely above rats, then Muslim lands will get circles run around them by the productivity of Western (American) capitalism and will continue to be ostracized by the rest of the world.

The only Muslim hope is to bring back the Caliphate of Saladin in the 12th century- aint happenin boys. It aint 1187 anymore and no one will ride into Jerusalem and take it back.
Time to look toward the future and realize that the west has granted you EVERY freedom to worship, assimilate, work and live in TOTAL peace- no leftist blame America first for everything BS on this forum can change any of those FACTS- join the league of nations and put the sword (bomb) down- you will only spawn more blood- of course if you are dying to go and have a bunch of Virgins as sex partners in "heaven" then it is a tough sell- do the women get virgins when they martyr die too?
Quit blaming all of your social and political ills on Israel occupying "palestinian" land (another debate) that has NOTHING to do with why most people in Iran are dirt poor and why Saudi with all its money has 25+% unemployment. The "Zionists" did cause the mass poverty of the Muslim countries in Northeren Africa.
Oh and every Muslim who would like to make peace with us infidels in not Monmi either.

Gee and as China gains in power and strength they too will be building and "occupying" your sacred soil- but gurantee of no "terror" attacks there- they will simply slaughter entire villages and take out the good cells with the Muslim terrorist cancer cells. Man this is going to get interesting.

Matt I have seen Muslim news and reaction and OPINION- it straddle sthe line every time- they HAVE to or they will get bombed next!!

Matt I know MANY Muslims, one of my best freinds in business in a much smarter than me, extremely wealthy Muslim, I roomed with him in hotel rooms before and have had deep discussions of Muslim thought , faith and terrorism, I put this guy in business with a $ 500,000 contract 10 years ago- he thanked me by giving me 2200 shares of stock in his company (I just voted in his shareholder meeting last week BTW) he and others I know have been to Mecca/Medina- he is Shia, really dislikes and is annoyed by Sunni's and has told me "You cant stop those who will terrorize- there are no negotiatiosn that will work- they believe Allah is happy with what they are doing and will justify everything in light of that" And this guy and his circleof freinds are STELLAR human beings and are very enlightened to the world around them. OH and yes they have a tendency sometimes to blame the very country that has made them millionaires (USA) I have to remind them that they can do that here and not have to whisper- its OK we can do that in this CHRISTIAN BASED COUNTRY- they get a chuckle out of that.

Good point, Badger. Bias and bigotry both result from an inability to view a situation from any other viewpoint. To reach an effective solution to the current situation, we need people who can understand the other side's point of view and then be able to come to a rational, and workable, resolution. Reactionaries on both sides will just keep this flame burning for years to come.
